New York, NY: Enhanced Resources on SikhYouth.com Include Streaming Media, articles and a high-powered search engine.

After several months of development, we are proud to release our long awaited new website. Not only does this new website provide a lot more detailed information about our religion, it also features a new way to learn our history and provides in-depth information about our unique lifestyle. “Our online visitors will now experience a more vibrant and seamless view of the whole SikhYouth.com and its deep online resources,” says Rupinder Grewal, assistant director of SikhYouth.

The new Web site features expanded content and streaming media including over 400 pages with hundreds of articles related to Sikh history, culture, and religion. The design incorporates bold colors and graphics and completely new navigational tools. However, it might be important to note that some pages are still in active development, and several pages are still being optimized with proof reading and minor editing. Additionally new features such as forum, matrimonial will be coming up soon. Some part of the website will be reorganized to be somewhat more functional and easier to use. Nevertheless, this will not compromise the usability of the website.

This educational website was designed purely with functionality and ease of use in mind, which is an effort to further contribute to a pleasant visitor experience. If you have any comments about this new website, positive or negative, they are more than welcome at our “contact us” page under “About SikhYouth” navigation.

About the SikhYouth:

SikhYouth is the creation from a team of volunteers based in the United States. This website has been setup to encourage and inspire people to learn more about the Sikh faith, its history, and its teachings and to encourage a simple, honest and spiritual life.

At SikhYouth we try to inspire the youth by providing them with a collection of inspirational articles from Sikh History. It takes blood, sweat and tears to build a united nation and our Sikh history is evident of this. We are a nation built by saint soldiers and martyrs – those who fought against tyranny, oppression and injustice even when they were small in numbers. The sevadars at SikhYouth will never be able to match what so many great men and women in the past and present have done and are doing for the Sikh nation, but we try our best with what little we have and the abilities that Vaheguru Jee has given us.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have and do help us with what we are trying to achieve and overcome, and apologize for any mistakes.
