The KHALSA as anti-terrorists

January 21st, 2009 by Joginder Singh Sethi- New Delhi, India

Today all around the world there is major discussion on one topic. World leaders are holding conferences and discussions regarding the so-called “WAR ON TERROR” that is, how to control Terrorism.

I would like to bring the following things to light:

1. Do people know, how it all started and when?

This problem started some time in 620AD in Mecca, the city in Saudi Arabia, which means this is not a new problem and that this problem is more than 1380 years old.

2. What are jihadis actually looking for and what is a jihad?

“Jihad has come to mean an offensive war to be waged by Muslims against all non-Muslims to convert them to Islam”

Every person finding a solution to this problem of Terrorism  must know the cause, of why (counting from the year 2008) nearly 1374 years back in the year 634 AD., the Muslims launched their first merciless attack on the Christian kingdom of Byzantine, and converted the local Christian population to Islam at the point of the sword, after capturing Jerusalem, Damascus, Cesaria, Antioch and Cairo (then called Babylon and later Al Fustat).

Why was this first unprovoked attack on Christendom unleashed?

The Byzantine Christians had not attacked Arabia, they had not attacked Muslims. Then why were they attacked by the Muslims? The reason for this attack lies in the rejection of the Dawat-ul-Islam (Invitation to embrace Islam) sent to the Christian Byzantine Emperor Heraclius (Heraclios) by Mohammed-ibn-Abdallah, who was the founder of Islam.

This invitation was in fact an ultimatum to either embrace Islam, or surrender to the Muslim armies and pay protection money to the Muslims through a penal tax called Jaziya or to prepare for war. (It is in the same spirit that the Ayman Al Zawahiri calls upon President George Bush to embrace Islam). Since Heraclius rejected all these demands, the Muslims launched their first major attack on a Christian kingdom in the year 634 (they had launched a smaller attack five years earlier in 629 at Mu’ta and had been defeated).

This story of Muslim aggression and occupation of Christian lands, repeated itself over the next 1372 years when the Muslims launched unprovoked attacks on Christian Egypt in 640, on Christian Nubia in 650, on Christian North Africa in 650, on Christian Spain in 711 and again on 3/11), on Christian France (under Frankish rule) in 732, on Christian Sicily in 812, on Christian Byzantine again in 1071 to 1453, on Christian Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece, Croatia, Albania, Hungary Austria, Poland Russia in the period between 1389 to 1683 and on Christian America on 9/11.

All these Christian nations were invaded by the Muslims not because they had any grievance against them, not because they had attacked the Muslims, but because it was in the world view of the Muslims to attack all non-Muslims and convert them to Islam. That was the reason why they  attacked on 9/11.

INDIA  also faced its heat in AD 712 when Mohd Bin Qasim attacked sind. And there after a series of attacks  by different islamists, followed in  1010,AD 1226, AND THEN IN 1526 By Moghul Emperor Babbar and thereafter till 1774, and it still continues now.

All these attackers had only the same agenda, loot and forcibly convert people to Islam or kill them. Many battles were fought by different countries in Europe as mentioned above, and middle east asia including some parts of china are also mentioned in the history, many resisted for years. For example the Turks fought for nearly 400 years and then surrendered and embraced islam, similarly many others also fought, but I wonder:

1. Has any body or any country or any organization taken it seriously so far?
2. Has any body come out with any solution?
Everybody who is not muslim was  attacked and  in retaliation they  fought or died or embraced Islam but there is no reference that any permanent remedy was chalked out .

There is only one example where a special class was created to fight this forced conversion.

In the year 1699 AD on 13th April GURU GOBIND SINGH ji THE TENTH SIKH GURU of the Sikhs ANNOUNCED and established  “KHALSA” as an Anti-Terror Remedy: A SPECIAL CLASS  TO FIGHT TERRORISM.

Now let us see what was the situation which made Guru Gobind Singh ji take this decision.

As on April 13th 1699 there was a past history of almost 1200 years before him. And more particularly during the last 100 years it had been happening in relation to his own family:

In 1606 the fifth  Sikh Guru Arjan Dev ji was executed because of non acceptance of Islam by the then Moghul emperor Jahangir.

On 11th November 1675 the ninth Sikh Guru Guru, Tegh Bahadur ji father of Guru Gobind Singh ji, along with his five Sikh devotees, were beheaded in Delhi by the then moghul emperor Aurangzeb.

Apart from the  above many other battles were fought n 1700 century from 1606 to1699 by the sixth and seventh Sikh Gurus, during which countless sacrifices were made.

Let us look at the performance of Khalsa for the past 308 years:

In the year 1699 INDIA  under the command and control of the then moghul emperor aurungzeb, the situation in central and northern India including Delhi  was that all places of worship except mosques had beene closed for 25 years (i.e. since 1674) That included all Gurdwaras which were demolished or closed. Non muslims were living in fear. Even the diwali celebration was not allowed to non-muslims and in short, life was made hell for the non muslims.

It was only the Khalsa’s intervention, fighting for almost 75 long years, fighting number of battles, and in June, 1774 CAPTURED DELHI, IN HISTORY IT IS MENTIONED as follows:

“In June, 1774, Khalsa forces headed by, Jassa Singh Ahluwalia and Sardar Baghel Singh attacked the forces of shah alam  with thirty thousand  Sikhs and they  came and encamped at a place near Kashmiri Gate, that is why today that place is known as “Tis hazari”. They planned a two pronged attack. One section invaded the Ajmeri Gate and the other one breached the wall of the Red Fort and entered the place, which is now known as the Mori Gate. After a fierce battle, the Singhs captured Red Fort, hoisted the Kesri Flag, and put Panj Pyare, including Sardar Jassa Singh Ahluwalia, on the throne in Delhi.

Shah Alam, through the aegis of his Ministers, Court Official Munshi Ram Dyal, and Begham (Queen) Samoor offered reconciliation with the Singhs and accepted their four conditions:

1. No Mughal Official would indulge in atrocities on the populace.
2. The Mughal King would pay three hundred thousand rupees as a gift.
3. The Kotwali Area would remain the property of the Khalsa Army.
4. Sardar Baghel Singh would trace historically significant Sikh places in Delhi, and would establish Sikh Temples there. Hindus shall be restored their temples, Till this work was completed he would stay in Delhi with a constabulary of 4,000 horses. The Delhi Ruler would bear all their expenses. Consequently, rest of the Khalsa Army returned.

Sardar Baghel Singh set up an octroi-post near Sabzi Mandi to collect the tax on the goods imported into the city to finance the search and the construction of the Sikh Temples. He did not want to use the cash received from the Government Treasury for this purpose, and most of that was handed out to the needy and poor. He often distributed sweetmeats, bought out of this Government gift, to the congregationalists at the place which, now, is known as the Pul Mithai.

With the help of Hindu, Muslim and Sikh old residents of Delhi, Sardar Baghel Singh found and established seven historical places as the Sikh Temples:

1. Gurdwara Mata Sundri Ji at the place which was know as the Haveli Sardar Jawahar Singh.
2. Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. A Mansion belonging to Raja Jai Singh existed there once. Guru Harkrishan sahib  ji, the Eighth Guru had stayed there.
3. Gurdwara Bala Sahib. Last rights of Guru Harkrishan sahib ji, Mata Sundri ji and Mata Sahib Kaur ji  were performed at this place.
4. Gurdwara Rakab Ganj. The torso of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji was ceremated here.
5. Gurdwara Sis Ganj. Guru Tegh Bahadur ji was martyred at this place.
6. Gurdwara Moti Bagh. Guru Gobind Singh ji sent a message to the Mughal King, Bahadur Shah, by throwing an arrow from this place.
7. Gurdwara Majnu Tilla. It was established in the memory of a Sikh of Guru Nanak dev ji, named Majnu. Guru Hargobind stayed at this place on his way to Gwalior.

On the completion of all the Gurdwaras, Baghel Singh appointed the Bhais (attendant priests) to look after the places and decided to return to Punjab, as well. He was persuaded by Munshi Ram Dyal not to abandon Delhi once the Mughals had coneded to his authority and supermacy. But Baghel Singh replied, "We have been endowed with Kingdom and Destiny by our Guru. Whenever we wished, we could capture Delhi. It won't be difficult for the Khalsa."

Sardar Baghel Singh once again decided to invade Delhi in 1785. Shah Alam, scared of Singh, signed a treaty with the Marathas. The Marathas initialed an agreement with the Singhs and consented to pay one million rupees as gift.

And after this KHALSA RAJ Known as Sarkar KHALSA was established by Maharaja Ranjit singh in 1790 till 1839 in whole of Punjab and now known as Pakistan and afganistan KHALSA stood as a strong wall on the Indian borders and Ranjit Singh fought dozens of battles loosing none.

When the Afghans in the eighteenth century had routed the Mughals and later the Marhatas at Panipat, it were the Sikhs and the Sikhs khalsa alone who stood between them and their territorial designs against India. It is now recognized by all the objective historians of the World that but for the bitter struggle then put up by the Sikhs, khalsa, the entire territory upto Jamuna would have formed part of the Afghan Empire. At the cost of the stupendous sacrifices, the Sikhs saved the geographical entity of India from being dismembered at that crucial stage of history.

It was also the Khalsa who salvaged the honor of this country when they freed thousands of innocent young women from the clutches of Nadir Shah, Ahmed Shah and a host of other marauders who used to sell them in the Bazars of Kabul, Ghazni and Persia, like Goats and Sheep. It was the Khalsa alone who after thousands of years, reversed the course of history by rolling the invaders back to their quarters and sealing the vulnerable areas in the Northwest against all future invasions with their own blood and bones.

After Maharaja  Ranjit Singh’s death, some traitors conspired with the British and in 1857, Khalsa Sarkar was taken by the British Raj from the heirs of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.

Once again the creation of Khalsa by Guru Gobind Singh ji and the teachings he gave proved invaluable and were applied by the Khalsa against the British for freedom-fighting. A tradition started in northern India in non-sikh mostly Punjabi families, that in every family the eldest sone would become a Sikh.

The movement of Bharat Chhoro and resistance to the British Raj started in actual sense in 1857, and the data available to historians from the historical records show that that out of total deaths in fighting for the freedom of INDIA, KHALSA once again stood on the top.

8O% of the death toll belongs to KHALSA. This was mentioned by no less a person than Maulana Azad.

Another most important point to note is that the Khalsa led Punjab, the only state where terrorists could not carry on their dirty business. They tried in the last decade but failed miserably, because of the tough stand taken by the majority population.

May GOD bless the Khalsa and the world with more chardi kala. The time is not far when people AROUND THE WORLD  will say, "there shall be at least one KHALSA from each non sikh family” that day will be the end of terrorism, and we all will be able to say we have truly won the WAR ON TERROR”

Jihad is just one word for hate...there has been others...

Islam has been manipulated by many so called leaders over the years. They have taken what was meant to be a defensive doctrine and used it offensively. The real leaders of Islam never condoned the taking of life lightly even in a defensive posture. The issue of today's jihad has had other names and other faces. Jihad is hate and hate is the darkness. We move about in this life attempting to dispel the darkness thus dispelling the hate, the jihad, etc. There are still places to get the original view of Islam. One interesting view is the Al-Islam website http://www.alislam.org/. Their website motto says it all, “love for all, hatred for none”. There community has been around for over 100 years and have focused on restoring the true meaning of the Koran. They acknowledge something has gone wrong in Islam. Islam itself has had true warriors that were protectors of all, and some even subscribed to a Geneva convention like guideline. However over the years the Koran has been manipulated by some into an offensive tool of hate. We realize the true nature of the Khalsa and I think the author was trying to highlight those facts as well as draw attention to the difficulty Jihadists have been over the centuries. In the United States we have freedom of religion and work overtime trying to figure how a nation of people as diverse as ours can peacefully coexist and honor one another’s religious rights as required by law and founding document. The Jihad was actually an early defensive mechanism to ward off religious persecution and strongly defend the right to worship. Over the years the jihadist has reversed it and now are the offensive persecutors denying the right to worship. Guru Nanak Dev Ji lived side by side with the Moslem and strove to enlighten them as far as he could for he saw the darkness as moved across Islam as well as other religions. As far as the Khalsa is concerned, I am sure Guru Gobind Singh would order the protection of Moslems if they were in need of such and being persecuted. I am also sure that many a Moslem was welcomed at langer and as always we evaluate others based upon who they are not some broad paint brush that could lead to discrimination. The Khalsa is and always should be the protector of those in need of protection without discrimination, this ensures that the founding principles of Sikhism shall always find a home…in the Khalsa.

The First thing the RSS Brahman teaches is to HATE Muslims

The most untruthful person on the planet earth in a Hindu leader who follows the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. This meat eating Brahman worships the female Goddess Kali as the Absolute Truth, and teaches hindus to chant Jai Mata Dee (Victory to Goddess Kali) with her long red blood thirsty tongue hanging down, hungry for blood, this is the pride of many Hindus associated with the RSS. many Brahmans in Bengal eat fish, and meat because of the worship of the female Goddess Kali and Female Goddess Durga. the worship of female Goddess made the daughters of Hindus extremely lusty, but anyone who believes in Reincarnation and Karma should NEVER eat meat especially Brahmans. Not only did Vivekananda ate meat but he ate BEEF in America, and this is an open secret. Yet in-spite of this Hindi speaking brahman leaders from U.P. and Punjab influenced the Gujrati Jains and Hindu followers of Shankara in 1990 to fundraise three and a half million dollars from Hindu temples across the United States Canada, and the U.K. to bring Hindus from all over the world to celebrate the One Hundred Anniversary of Vivekananda's arrival in America at the Hilton Hotel in Washington D.C.. (Money stolen from the U.S. Treasury) President Bill Clinton NEVER attended, yet they RSS made propaganda that the President of the United States was the Honored Guest, The guests of honor and organizers were #1RSS leader K.S. Sudarshan #2 V.H.P. Leader Ashok Singhal, #3 B.J.P. Leader Uma Bharti. #4 Murli Manohar Joshi. The money was raised by the Gujrati community , especially the followers of Jainaism and Shankararcharya. They distributed books written by Vivekananda and other atheist Hindu leaders , they made propaganda and brought Hindu leaders from all over the world and brain washed them. The most dangerous Indian leaders outside of India are Gujarati businessmen who were all brain washed through books on hate written by RSS leaders. There was a deliberate attempt on the followers of the RSS to spread hatred towards Christians, Sikhs, and Muslims, and then use some of the very people to penetrate their very own communities and cause divisions. Without spreading hate there is no gossip and Hindu religion. Modern Hinduism is all about hating. It is by spreading hate they can control the Hindu masses. Hating is all associated with demigod worshipping Hindus, who are taught to hate by the RSS leaders, the RSS are thieves, and criminals.

This article doesn't belong in the news section

With no disrespect to Joginder Singh, this article is seriously distorted. In it, he puts together anecdotal pieces in an attempt to create an argument but falls short on all accounts. Here is why: 1. He circumscribes Khalsa as an anti-terrorist task force. Order of the Khalsa is much larger than this. Khalsas are required live as best "humans" they can be while standing up for rights of "all" and reaching the highest levels of spirituality. 2. He gives a one sided view of terror as an Islamic product. Terror has been used by Brahminical class against Dalits, Sikhs and Budhists for centuries. Try to find out how Budhists got driven out of India by Shankar Acharya in 7th-8th century. 3. He portrays Muslims as ruthless attackers on Christians and other non-Muslims. History of Christian crusades proves otherwise. 4. The writer suggests that the 9/11 attacks happened just because the Muslim world view prompts them to attack and convert non-Muslims. This is the most absurd argument I have ever read about the reasons behind 9/11 attacks. 5. The writer also makes an attempt to wrap up free spirited Khalsa as an Indo-nationalistic force. Again, this is far from truth. Many of the Sikhs who participated in India's struggle against Britain, weren't Khalsas and the construction of India as a nation didn't shape up till the British ruled it. And Khalsa came into existence well before that happened. I would like to request Sikhnet to carefully evaluate all postings. The web master should test all articles against some kind of journalistic standard and shall not post any articles that do not cite credible sources of information. Articles such as written by Joginder Singh may be posted as opinions but not as "news".

Romesh Kumar Jee...Know more about Nehru

A MUST READ-The Nehru Family At the very beginning of his book, "The Nehru Dynasty", astrologer K. N. Rao mentions the names of Jawahar Lal's father and grandfather. Jawahar Lal's father was believed to be Moti Lal and Moti Lal's father was one Gangadhar Nehru. And we all know that Jawahar Lal's only daughter was Indira Priyadarshini Nehru; Kamala Nehru was her mother, who died in Switzerland of tuberculosis. She was totally against Indira's proposed marriage with Feroze. Why? No one tells us that ! Now, who is this Feroze? We are told by many that he was the son of the family grocer. The grocer supplied wines, etc. to Anand Bhavan, previously known as Ishrat Manzil, which once belonged to a Muslim lawyer named Mobarak Ali. Moti Lal was earlier an employee of Mobarak Ali. What was the family grocer's name? One frequently hears that Rajiv Gandhi's grandfather was Pandit Nehru. But then we all know that everyone has two grandfathers, the paternal and the maternal grandfathers. In fact, the paternal grandfather is deemed to be the more important grandfather in most societies. Why is it then no where we find Rajiv Gandhi's paternal grandfather's name? It appears that the reason is simply this. Rajiv Gandhi's paternal grandfather was a Muslim gentleman from the Junagadh area of Gujarat. This Muslim grocer by the name of Nawab Khan, had married a Parsi woman after converting her to Islam. This is the source where from the myth of Rajiv being a Parsi was derived. Rajiv's father Feroze was Feroze Khan before he married Indira, against Kamala Nehru's wishes. Feroze's mother's family name was Ghandy, often associated with Parsis and this was changed to Gandhi, sometime before his wedding with Indira, by an affidavit. The fact of the matter is that (and this fact can be found in many writings) Indira was very lonely. Chased out of the Shantiniketan University by Guru Dev Rabindranath himself for misdemeanor, the lonely girl was all by herself, while father Jawahar was busy with politics, pretty women and illicit sex; the mother was in hospital. Feroze Khan, the grocer's son was then in England and he was quite sympathetic to Indira and soon enough she changed her religion, became a Muslim woman and married Feroze Khan in a London mosque. Nehru was not happy; Kamala was dead already or dying. The news of this marriage eventually reached Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Gandhi urgently called Nehru and practically ordered him to ask the young man to change his name from Khan to Gandhi. It had nothing to do with change of religion, from Islam to Hinduism for instance. It was just a case of a change of name by an affidavit. And so Feroze Khan became Feroze Gandhi. The surprising thing is that the apostle of truth, the old man soon to be declared India's Mahatma and the 'Father of the Nation' didn't mention this game of his in the famous book, 'My Experiments with Truth'. Why? When they returned to India, a mock 'Vedic marriage' was instituted for public consumption. On this subject, writes M. O. Mathai (a longtime private secretary of Nehru) in his renowned (but now suppressed by the GOI) 'Reminiscences of the Nehru Age' on page 94, second paragraph: "For some inexplicable reason, Nehru allowed the marriage to be performed according to Vedic rites in 1942. An inter-religious and inter-caste marriage under Vedic rites at that time was not valid in law. To be legal, it had to be a civil marriage. It's a known fact that after Rajiv's birth Indira and Feroze lived separately, but they were not divorced. Feroze used to harass Nehru frequently for money and also interfere in Nehru's political activities. Nehru got fed up and left instructions not to allow him into the Prime Minister's residence Trimurthi Bhavan. Mathai writes that the death of Feroze came as a relief to Nehru and Indira. The death of Feroze in 1960 before he could consolidate his own political forces is itself a mystery. Feroze had even planned to remarry. Those who try to keep tabs on our leaders in spite of all the suppressions and deliberate misinformation, are aware of the fact that the second son of Indira (or Mrs. Feroze Khan) known as Sanjay Gandhi was not the son of Feroze. He was the son of another Moslem gentleman, Mohammad Yunus. Here, in passing, we might mention that the second son was originally named Sanjiv. It rhymed with Rajiv, the elder brother's name. It was changed to Sanjay when he was arrested by the British police in England and his passport impounded, for having stolen a car. Krishna Menon was then India's High Commissioner in London. He offered to issue another passport to the felon who changed his name to Sanjay. Incidentally, Sanjay's marriage with the Sikh girl Menaka (now they call her Maneka for Indira Gandhi found the name of Lord Indra's court dancer rather offensive!) took place quite surprisingly in Mohammad Yunus' house in New Delhi. And the marriage with Menaka who was a model (She had modeled for Bombay Dyeing wearing just a towel) was not so ordinary either. Sanjay was notorious in getting unwed young women pregnant. Menaka too was rendered pregnant by Sanjay. It was then that her father, Colonel Anand, threatened Sanjay with dire consequences if he did not marry her daughter. And that did the trick. Sanjay married Menaka. It was widely reported in Delhi at the time that Mohammad Yunus was unhappy at the marriage of Sanjay with Menaka; apparently he had wanted to get him married with a Muslim girl of his choice. It was Mohammad Yunus who cried the most when Sanjay died in the plane accident. In Yunus' book, 'Persons, Passions & Politics' one discovers that baby Sanjay had been circumcised following Islamic custom, although the reason stated was phimosis. It was always believed that Sanjay used to blackmail Indira Gandhi and due to this she used to turn a blind eye when Sanjay Gandhi started to run the country as though it were his personal fiefdom. Was he black mailing her with the secret of who his real father was? When the news of Sanjay's death reached Indira Gandhi, the first thing she wanted to know was about the bunch of keys which Sanjay had with him. Nehru was no less a player in producing bastards. At least one case is very graphically described by M. O. Mathai in his "Reminiscences of the Nehru Age", page 206. Mathai writes: "In the autumn of 1948 (India became free in 1947 and a great deal of work needed to be done) a young woman from Benares arrived in New Delhi as a sanyasin named Shraddha Mata (an assumed and not a real name). She was a Sanskrit scholar well versed in the ancient Indian scriptures and mythology. People, including MPs, thronged to her to hear her discourses. One day S. D. Upadhyaya, Nehru's old employee, brought a letter in Hindi from Shraddha Mata. Nehru gave her an interview in the PM's house. As she departed, I noticed (Mathai is speaking here) that she was young, shapely and beautiful. Meetings with her became rather frequent, mostly after Nehru finished his work at night. During one of Nehru's visits to Lucknow, Shraddha Mata turned up there, and Upadhyaya brought a letter from her as usual. Nehru sent her the reply; and she visited Nehru at midnight... "Suddenly Shraddha Mata disappeared. In November 1949 a convent in Bangalore sent a decent looking person to Delhi with a bundle of letters. He said that a young woman from northern India arrived at the convent a few months ago and gave birth to a baby boy. She refused to divulge her name or give any particulars about herself. She left the convent as soon as she was well enough to move out but left the child behind. She however forgot to take with her a small cloth bundle in which, among other things, several letters in Hindi were found. The Mother Superior, who was a foreigner, had the letters examined and was told they were from the Prime Minister. The person who brought the letters surrendered them... "I (Mathai) made discreet inquiries repeatedly about the boy but failed to get a clue about his whereabouts.. Convents in such matters are extremely tightlipped and secretive. Had I succeeded in locating the boy, I would have adopted him. He must have grown up as a Catholic Christian blissfully ignorant of who his father was." Coming back to Rajiv Gandhi, we all know now that he changed his so called Parsi religion to become a Catholic to marry Sania Maino of Turin, Italy. Rajiv became Roberto. His daughter's name is Bianca and son's name is Raul. Quite cleverly the same names are presented to the people of India as Priyanka and Rahul. What is amazing is the extent of our people's ignorance in such matters. The press conference that Rajiv Gandhi gave in London after taking over as prime minister of India was very informative. In this press conference, Rajiv boasted that he was NOT a Hindu but a Parsi. Mind you, speaking of the Parsi religion, he had no Parsi ancestor at all. His grandmother (father's mother) had turned Muslim after having abandoned the Parsi religion to marry Nawab Khan. It is the western press that waged a blitz of misinformation on behalf of Rajiv. From the New York Times to the Los Angeles Times and the Washington Post, the big guns raised Rajiv to heaven. The children's encyclopedias recorded that Rajiv was a qualified Mechanical Engineer from the revered University of Cambridge. No doubt US kids are among the most misinformed in the world today! The reality is that in all three years of his tenure at that University Rajiv had not passed a single examination. He had therefore to leave Cambridge without a certificate. Sonia too had the same benevolent treatment. She was stated to be a student in Cambridge. Such a description is calculated to mislead Indians. She was a student in Cambridge all right but not of the University of Cambridge but of one of those fly by night language schools where foreign students come to learn English. Sonia was working as an 'au pair' girl in Cambridge and trying to learn English at the same time. And surprise of surprises, Rajiv was even cremated as per vedic rites in full view of India's public.. This is the Nehru dynasty that India worships and now an Italian leads a prestigious national party because of just one qualification - being married into the Nehru family. Maneka Gandhi itself is being accepted by the non-Congress parties not because she was a former model or an animal lover, but for her links to the Nehru family. Saying that an Italian should not lead India will amount to narrow mindedness, but if Sania Maino (Sonia) had served India like say Mother Teresa or Annie Besant,i.e. in anyway on her own rights, then all Indians should be proud of her just as how proud we are of Mother Teresa. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is the truth about Nehru whom Ten million Indians worship. Now you can decide yourself about the honesty of Gandhi and Nehru.

ManiIsking............ what is this ????!!!!!!!

That man, that family and puppets of that family effectively and efficiently RULED OVER US for past 61 years. Nobody knows for how long they are going to continue.......................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, my friend, need of the hour is to do some introspection. We lack something somewhere, let's try to find out. I have already read a lot about goods and bads of this family. My father and grandfather's name did not appear anywhere in any of the books written on gandhi and nehru. I look at the positive side, especially their role and sacrifice during freedom struggle. koi kisi ko raj na de hei, jo le hei nij ball se le hei. I believe so and believe in the personality who wrote so.

ManiIsKing UR king

thank you very much ManiIsKing for the article ...this things many people know it but they wont speak up. lot of people wont digest it that easy because truth is bitter to swallow ... waheguroo bless you...***ਹਮ ਨਹੀ ਚੰਗੇ ਬੁਰਾ ਨਹੀ ਕੋਇ ॥ I am not good; no one is bad. हम नही चंगे बुरा नही कोइ ॥***

Atrocious

Waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ki fateh!! This is a completely falsified document. Muslims did not begin terrorism and there are many terrorists both now and past who do not belong to the Muslim faith. The beginning of terrorism was certainly not when the article states, I hope no one here has forgotten about the Crusades or the many other cases of false wars and acts of terrorism far before this date. To isolate muslims in this sense is utterly wrong. The Guru's were not fighting Islam they were fighting injustice, whether or not they are Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist or whatever religion. These types of articles breed hate while hiding behind the veil of trying to inspire sikhs. This article inspires nothing more then the very things which are opposite to sikhism, hate, ego, and cruelty. Terrorism is a global phenomena which can barely be traced or confined into one definition today and to try and do it in this prejudice stereotypical way is completely wrong. God forgive this writer and all others who conduct such racist, and prejudice acts against anyone for they are no better then the RRS and other anti-sikh groups in India. An enemy of humanity, one who insights hate and injustice, whether he belongs to any religion, is an enemy to sikhism and all sikhs should rise up to extinguish this flame of hatred.

Excellent comment. I just

Excellent comment. I just want to add that in India this technique is being widely used to increase hatred for muslims. Where Guru Nanak ji preached love for all regardless of faith, caste etc. all have forgotten that message of Sarbat Da balla.

Aaarondeep.Bains....;

Bains Sahib; heartily thanks for your brilliant views. Sat Sri Akaal.

Lets not

Lets not forget, Sikhs/Khalsa has been under attack from not only Mughals and British, the Hindus for whom thousands of Sikhs laid their lives, freed them from Mughals and British, are the ones who have been terrorizing Sikhs. The terrorist HIndus have similar thoughts and philosophy as the cruel Mughals and evil Nazis. Now just like any religion, not all followers are bad, but lets face it, in India where 70% population is Hindu, and less than 2% is Sikh, who is going to have more majority for any matter? Hindus have been against Sikhs since long time, lets take a few examples: 1. Chandu of Lahore was main reason for arrest and murder of Guru Arjan Dev ji 2. Gangu came with Pt. Kirpa Ram from Kashmir to Guru Tegh Bahadurs help. In return, Gangu handed over the chotey sahibzadey to the Mughal wazir for execution. 3. Hindu Dogras betrayed the Khalsa Raj and helped British conquer the Sikhs Kingdom. 4. Nehru (Decendent of Gangu) along with Gandhi ensure the division of Panjab into India and Pakistan, then further divided into Haryana,UP etc and gave no recognition or rights to Sikhs 5. Indira Papan attacked Harmandir Sahib and 38 other Gurduaras, destroyed Gurduaras, killed thousands of innocent Sikhs 6. Rajiv continued his mothers work. so I say to all those who right about the attrocities committed by the Mughals, dont forget what the Hindus have / are doing to us too. Gur Phatey!

Jas4raj.......;

Jas4raj....; Great thoughts !!!!! Great ideology !!!! Vast knowledge !!!!!! Sikhs ( if you really are, though seem to be working for ISI ) with ideology like yours have done nothing good to Sikhism except bringing disgrace and defame. It is none other than Sikhs like (if) you are who joined hands with successors of same mughals against Sikh Motherland. Now start abusing me.....yes come on....what else one can expect from you traitor.

Romesh, I dont waste my time

Romesh, I dont waste my time in slandering people like you. If you have any arguements against the points I noted, I will gladly discuss. Otherwise I dont waste my time arguing with NON_SIKHS whether I am Sikh or no.

Jas4raj......;

Jas4raj; your comments are inflammatory, full of material of spreading hatred, misleading, provocative and abusive as well. I still feel sorry for anything which hurt your feelings or dignity. As of NON_SIKH and SIKH debate or matter, I am 1000% sure that I am far far better SIKH than you might be claiming to be. You can go through my various posts in sikhnet. If you like then you are invited to discuss Sikhism of ten Guru Sahiban and SGGS with me not sikh looks, sikh family background or sikh name.Sat Sri Akaal.

Romesh, I will repeat AGAIN,

Romesh, I will repeat AGAIN, if you have any point to discuss / dispute from the points I listed I will gladly discuss. I know truth hurts, that why you can handle the points I have been mentioning about your ancestors. Why do you want to discuss who is a better Sikh? I never once claimed I am better than U, or that U are worse than me. Why so defensive Kumar? I mean, you dont even need to argue about it....U are NOT even a Sikh. Just be proud of your Hindu faith and follow it?

Jas4raj; let's discuss the points

1. Who were your own ancestors ? 2. Where do your ancestors belong to ? 3. Who were 1st to 10th Masters ? 4. How many baptised sikhs have their bani in SGGS ? 5. Who was S.Banda Bahadur ? WHEN and WHY was he baptised ? What was he baptised for ? Where did he belong to ? What assignment was given to him ? ................ Do you know that tens of millions of indians regard gandhi and nehru as father and builder of nation respectively ? Do you know that tens of millions of people love and respect them as much as you do to Guru Sahiban ? I am proud Indian which is my motherland, I pray to waheguru which is not personal/ancestral property of any one, I have great respect for hindus but I am not confined to a particular 'ism'. I believe in one God and also believe that your kind of 'ism' has no place in modern world.

Answers

First of all, you are changing topic, you have not discussed or given your rebuttal on the points I mentioned. But anyway, I will answer your question too. 1. My ancestors gave up the discriminating faith in which people were treated worse than animals, women were treated as a peice of crap and homes were washed with cow pee to follow the "sacch da dharam" revealed to Guru Nanak. 2. My ancestors belonged to the Panjab region. 3. 1st to 10th Masters - need I answer...they are my Masters...Masters of the SIKH faith. 4. There are 0 baptised Sikhs (I will tell you later why) 5. Banda Bahadur - S. Gurbachan Singh (famously knows as Banda Bahadur) 6. He was never Baptised (I will tell you later why) About Baptised.....NO SIKH IS EVERY BAPTISED. BAPTISIM is a Christian practice. Sikhs are initiated by the Amrit Ceremony. Before Guru Gobind Singh ji started Khanday Di paul, all Sikhs were initiated by Charana-Amrit by 1st to 9th Guru. So let me ask you, 2 Sikhs Baani is in SGGS, they were initiated into the Sikh panth by Charan-Amrit ceremony by Guru Nanak and Guru Arjan ji. "Tens of millions of indians regard gandhi and nehru as father and builder of nation " Tens of million of these same people also treat women as dirt, divide people into castes, and treat untouchables worst than animals. gandhi himself was a proponent of the caste system...he said " What use is it for me to be a Brahmin if I cannot call and treat a Shudra as a Shudra". Gandhi is the same guy who slept with his neices. Nehru is the same liar who promised so much to the Sikhs and when he got power he said "times have changed" Sure you can call Gandhi your father, and respect him. But he is nothing in front of the Sikh Gurus or for a fact infront of any religious prophet or any person who belives in one humanity. Hey, Hindus have their own dharam, Muslims have their own, Sikhs have their own etc...Each person is free to follow any path...or none of them. But dont force YOUR religion onto others. Just be a good follower of your own faith. So you still want to discuss the original points I listed?

Jas4raj..good morning

You have scored 50%/pass marks as average. In some of the answers you scored 100% by admitting the facts e.g. gangu was a sikh not hindu anymore. I will later give you the actual and correct interpretation of those. Thanks for now dear, it is a discussion/exchange of views with intention of knowing more and more. I belong to those families who have amritdharis/keshdharis/hindus all in one family. Sat Sri Akaal.

Romesh, You are full of crap

Romesh, You are full of crap you know. U just make up conclusions thinking you are the smartest person in the world. You dont know half the facts you are scoring me on. When did I say Gangu was Sikh, HE WAS A BRAHMIN HINDU WHO BETRAYED THE SIKHS. Is that clear enough for you? BTW, you still have not submitted your rebuttal to my original points, which tells me you are just a trouble maker and just waste of time for me.

Great Knowledge

Great Article!! but something's missing

I was very much pumped up after reading this article but... the author forgot to mention the KHALSA wars with Pahaari-raajas.. Execution of 5th Nanak, Guru Arjan Dev ji, the first martyr of Sikhs by the cruel Jahangir (Prince Salim) the so called lover-boy of Anaarkali.. This was the instance where the turnaround took place... This article is very-very aggressive to throw light over the blows sikhs have given but very little has been told about the blows that sikhs have taken... In my opinion, the assumption of this article is : "KHALSA is a lethal weapon made to KILL, KILL and KILL....." The phrases like "performance of Khalsa" sound as if it was all sports and games going on... And BTW the last paragraph "Another most important point to note is that the Khalsa led Punjab, the only state where terrorists could not carry on their dirty business. They tried in the last decade but failed miserably, because of the tough stand taken by the majority population".... shows favouritism for the GOI .... All in all not a BAD article but the title "The Khalsa as anti-EVIL" would've been better than "The Khalsa as anti-terrorists".. In the end I congratulate S. Joginder Singh ji for his effort... Keep it up :)
