At the trailer launch for animated movie 'Chaar Sahibzaade' Harman Baweja speaks about his father and his process before making the movie, "I think one of the key things for this film that actually worked was us sitting at the dining table and actually talking about Chaar Sahibzaade as it is one of the many stories that you grow up with which your parents tell you. And that's the information that I had. Only when dad started looking into this film, researching this film and finding out more and more about it, by the end of it if you actually walk into his office he's actually got probably close to 30 odd books on Sikhism. There is no historian he has not met, traveled to different parts of Punjab, met pretty much everyone there. Just to get the real stories out. At the end of the day this is history. This is something that happened 300 some odd years ago, so pretty much everything is based on facts..."

His father the long time filmmaker Harry Baweja said, "The story of this film doesn't belong to a religion, it's the story of a tragedy of these four beloved children, their valor and how they stuck to their principles. So it's a story telling, it's not a preaching or any of that kind of talk."

Three Bollywood actresses who made appearances at the launch also pitched in:

Shilpa Shetty said, "I, and I'm sure all three of us, liked the trailer very, very much. It's a very difficult job to recreate this kind of epic but Harry ji has done it greatly. I think it's a great film to show you kids with India ethos and history attached. It's a great way to introduce that kind of culture. I think the children will very much like this picture. I think it's one of the first on the Guru's kids and I really, really liked the trailer."

Bipasha Basu said, "In India these are people who specialize to do this kind of good work because if anyone makes such a true story from history they couldn't use a real human subject for this because of the religious sentiments. So it's a film which sets a definite step forward. It's taking your kids back to the roots, what you don't know about. These days a lot of kids don't know these stories and about their roots. This is such a good way to introduce this subject by depicting it with animation. I think it will reach more youth."
