Sikh’s Right To Serve

Sikhs-Right-To-Serve---directorA brief look at the current situation with Sikhs not being allowed to serve in the military and a strong counter argument.
I interviewed the two Sikhs who were denied their right to serve as well as The Sikh Coalition. The Sikh Coalition is the law firm currently raising awareness about the issue and fighting for them.

    This is good approach for Sikhs in Army with turban and by the Sikh Coalition. Based on my experience, every time a Sikh with turban goes for job interview or looking for a job, some time one has to make lot of commitment and explanation to hiring authority. This film is very goes if this is shown to American Public for their understanding.

    Excellant. I am so glad this movie was made. This has been an isssue since the 1970’s when the army all of a sudden disallowed Sikhs to serve. SK

    Dear Sirs,
    I wanted to know whether the US Army have defrayed their medical or dental education. Their desire to serve is laudable. When they sign the dotted line, they agreed to comply with every military rules and regulation. Now, they balked. I donot understand their rigidity. I read that in Guru Gobind’s Army, there were clean shaven men and women of every religious faith. At the time the US Army was allowing turbaned Sikhs to serve, I wonder how many did join. My guess is less than 20.
