Our Ardaas (prayer) begins with: ik onkar waheguru ji ki fateh siri bhagauti ji sahai vaar siri bhagauti ji ki paatshaahi dasmi prithm bhagauti simar kay gur nanak laee(n) dhiaae .............................. In the beginning of Ardaas Bhagauti´s Name is remembered three times before our Gurus are remembered. It would be great to know why for us all Sikhs? Humbly and with respect. Balbir Singh |
