Elisabeth Meru is a very unique individual. She was born in Hamburg, Germany and now lives in Munich. The Guru's miracle manifested in her life after 24 years spent searching for God when she visited the Gurdwara in Munich, Germany for the first time and first heard Gurbani Kirtan.
Sometimes we worry if the Web will even let the “paper culture” exist. But hope springs eternal and we remain optimistic. We just need to expand our idea of publications to include all the communication channels from paper to emerging media.
These titles illustrate the love for Sikh history, ethos, and theology, and will whet the appetite for further reading.

The UNITED SIKHS' recommended list of Sikh books offers a great variety of crucial topics which are necessary for students in the academic field who are studying Sikhs. The books not only share Sikh ideals but show a larger context to reflect the ever increasingly multicultural world we live in.
The dedicated team of PDL is doing a great job by preserving these treasures in the best possible way and making them available and easily accessible to anybody in the world, free of cost. There is no doubt now, that the future Punjabi generations will be richer because their heritage will not be lost.
Khalsa college will digitize the rich Sikh treasure including rare books, manuscripts and hand written documents during the times of Sikh Gurus, presently preserved in the 81 years old Sikh museum.
Not long back, research meant trudging down to the library, searching for journals through musty stacks and queuing up for the photocopier. But not anymore. Digital books will play a vital role since people today are more tech-savvy and time-conscious. Taking a cue from the trend, Punjab has acquired its first digital library, providing an access to swathes of information.
Our readers are the ones who have inspired me forward. When they take the time to write and share a special moment with me with reference to reading A Lion’s Mane, it just makes my heart smile. Having just recently moved to Vancouver, from Ontario, it has been wonderful to see the reactions on people’s faces when they see the Sikh identity on the cover of a children’s book for the first time.
Lots of books on lives and teachings of Sikh Gurus have been released online in Hindi, English and Punjabi .
While perusing through their list of authors, I was surprised by the small number of Sikh writers who will be in attendance.
Known for his great work on the world wars depicting Sikhs’ contribution to the world during the wars, this book reveals the history of Sikhs living in Holland.
