National Gurdwara, Washington DC situated in close proximity of the White House, the seat of American power is once again in news, this time for a strange tragic incident. Last Wednesday night some vandals very meticulously removed and took away the Sikh flag always hoisting on a mast.
The alleged assault was the backbone of the lawsuit. But when secret video footage was submitted as evidence, showing that the alleged assault never happened, the board of trustees attempted to settle the lawsuit but the settlement fell apart a day before their court appearance on Dec. 9.
“If there was something that I can do or maybe something I could say to the whole group of them: You’re supposed to be, I think, God-fearing people, however you want to put it. How can we be at each other’s throats, destroying anybody, any single person?” said District of Columbia Superior Court Judge Bruce Beaudin.
Joginder Jaswant Singh governor and former Chief of Army Staff Punjab visited National Gurdwara to encourage economic relations between US and India.
