A LEADER of Birmingham’s Sikh community has been given a top honour by the Pope after building bridges between faiths.

Meeting the Head of the Roman Catholic Church is a once in a life time opportunity, one I fulfilled during the Holy Father's recent State visit to the UK. I was privileged to be a part of a small gathering that represented all the major world faiths.

This was the first UK state visit of Pope Benedict XVI. The visit was in response to an invitation from Queen Elizabeth II. Bhai Sahib was also interviewed near the end of the video.
