The Hukamnama today is on Ang 711 of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, by Sri Guru Ram Das Ji.

Ik▫oaʼnkār saṯ nām karṯā purakẖ nirbẖa▫o nirvair akāl mūraṯ ajūnī saibẖaʼn gur parsāḏ||
Satgur Ram Das Ji Maharaj when they ascended to the Gur Gaddi, when they became the fourth Guru, Giani Baba Budda Ji came to them and humbly asked Satgur Ji what is the most beloved thing to you in this world, what is the most beloved, who is the most beloved to you in this world that you love above all. And what spiritual blessings and gifts has Guru Amar Das Ji bestowed upon you. Satgur Ram Das Ji Maharaj is sharing with us their deep love and blessings of their great Lord. Satgur ji begins with Manglacharan, Ik▫oaʼnkār - there is one creating, nourishing, destructive being who is forever sat - who is forever eternal; who is forever true. naam - whose name is throughout the Universe; karta- He is the creator, Waheguru Ji is the purakh - puran - everywhere, completely perfect in every way. He is nirbha-o - beyond fear; nirvair - beyond enmity; akaal murat - whose murat whose status, image is akaal - beyond death; ajuni - who is beyond reincarnation; Saibhan - is self-existing; gur parsaad - found with the true Guru’s Grace.

Rāg todī mėhlā 4 gẖar 1||
In the musical measure of Todi Raag; Mehla 4 - by Guru Ram Das Ji Ghar 1 - and the first house of singing, first house of beat rhythm. Guru Ji says:

Har bin rėh na sakai man merā||
O Gurmukh Piaario, O Sikhs of the beloved, har bin; bin means without; har means Waheguru, rėh na sakai man merā; reh means to survive, to live; my mind, my man; cannot reh - cannot abide, cannot live, cannot survive.

Mere parīṯam parān har parabẖ gur mele bahur na bẖavjal ferā. ||1|| rahā▫o.||
My Guru, Satgur Amar Das Ji Maharaj, my Guru, the true Guru, Gur Mele has united me with Paritam Paran - with the beloved of my breath, that Waheguru Ji, with the breath Paran of my life, with my Paritam - my beloved. bahur na bẖavjal ferā - bahur - means again; bhavjal means reincarnation and fera means to go through again. I would not go over this fera, the cycle of reincarnation again. Rahao - Pause and think about this.

Merai hī▫arai locẖ lagī parabẖ kerī har nainhu har parabẖ herā.||
merai hirai- my heart is lagi - is afflicted with the loch - with this longing parabh - for my Waheguru; nainhu har parabẖ herā . Now with the Guru’s Grace I have been blessed, nainhu - through my eyes I have seen my Hari, my Lord, Waheguru. Through the eyes of wisdom and understanding I have been blessed to see my Lord everywhere.

Saṯgur ḏa▫i▫āl har nām driṛ▫ā▫i▫ā har pāḏẖar har parabẖ kerā. ||1||
The true Guru satgur, my Guru, who is da-i-al who is merciful, has drir-a-i-a - has sowed into me, has implanted into me the name of Waheguru. har pāḏẖar har parabẖ kerā - Satgur ji has shown me the padhar - the perfectly straight path to meeting the Lord, meeting that , meeting that Waheguru.

Har rangī har nām parabẖ pā▫i▫ā har govinḏ har parabẖ kerā.||
Through rangi - through Waheguru Ji’s love, through the loving God I have found Naam. Pa-i-a - means to find Waheguru, the name of the Lord. har govinḏ har parabẖ kerā; kera - I belong to, har govind - that seat of the universe, that who looks after the whole universe, Waheguru Ji.

Har hirḏai man ṯan mīṯẖā lāgā mukẖ masṯak bẖāg cẖangerā. ||2||
Through the Guru’s Grace, in my hirdai - my heart, my Hari, my Waheguru and through with my mind, my body and with my soul mitha laga - I find Waheguru Ji sweet to me. mukẖ masṯak bẖāg cẖangerā - upon my mukh - face; mastak - forehead; changera - blessed; bhag - means fortunes.

Lobẖ vikār jinā man lāgā har visri▫ā purakẖ cẖangerā. ||
Those people whose mind is laga - attached to lobh - greed; and vikar - sins, Satgur Ji says har visri▫ā purakẖ cẖangerā. - they have forgotten visri-a that purakh - that Waheguru Ji who is at all places, who is changera - perfect in every way, and who is good. They have forgotten Waheguru Ji. Satgur Ji says those people who have forgotten are called:

O▫e manmukẖ mūṛ agi▫ānī kahī▫ahi ṯin masṯak bẖāg manḏerā. ||3||
O▫e manmukẖ mūṛ agi▫ānī kahī▫ahi – kahai-ahi are called manmukh - followers of their own mind; mur - foolish; agi-ani - without wisdom, ignorant to wisdom. masṯak bẖāg manḏerā - and upon their mastak - forehead they have mandera - they have bad fortunes written.

Bibek buḏẖ saṯgur ṯe pā▫ī gur gi▫ān gurū parabẖ kerā.||
Satgur ji says Bibek buḏẖ saṯgur ṯe pā▫ī - From the true Guru saṯgur ṯe I have pa-i - I have found Bibek buḏẖ - true understanding of the Lord. gur gi▫ān gurū parabẖ kerā And the Guru has blessed me with gur gi▫ān - means the highest understanding gurū parabẖ kerā - and what is the highest understanding? Of parabẖ kerā - of Waheguru.

Jan Nānak nām gurū ṯe pā▫i▫ā ḏẖur masṯak bẖāg likẖerā. ||4||1||
Servant Nanak has pa-i-aa - attained Naam from the true Guru. Satguru Ram Das Ji saying that Satguru Amar Das Ji blessed him with the true Naam. ḏẖur masṯak bẖāg likẖerā and such was the bhag - the fortune scribed likhera - upon my mastak upon my forehead.

Bibek buḏẖ saṯgur ṯe pā▫ī gur gi▫ān gurū parabẖ kerā.
Jan Nānak nām gurū ṯe pā▫i▫ā ḏẖur masṯak bẖāg likẖerā. ||

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa! Waheguru ji ki Fateh!
