Can I Still Do Amrit?
I am still just a teenager but i was just wondering if i could do Amrit. The reason i ask this is because i have cut my hair. Will I be accepted? I will follow the rules when i do Amrit.

I am glad to hear that you wish to take amrit. Cutting hair does not bar a person from taking amrit. However, taking amrit requires discipline and commitment which should not be taken lightly. Before taking this step, I suggest that you prepare yourself of the life of an amritdhari. It may be a good idea for you to live as if you were an amritdhari for six months to a year before actually taking amrit. If you do not already know the obligations of an amritdhari, please consult with somebody in your family or at the local guruduara for guidance.
