Future of Sikhi and khalsa Panth

Post by varinderdeep »

Sat Sri Akaal Sareya nu,

I have read about Karni nama and Raj nama in Sau Sakhi. It says that Sikhs will rule the world after its destroyed by many wars to bring order in the world. Also I have read about 'Gurudwara maaltekri Sahib' where Guru Gobind Singh Ji had said that one day there will be 96 crore Khalsa in the world.

Can anyone from Sadh Sangat throw some light on the authenticity of these? I request all to please go through karni nama, Raj nama and 96 crore Khalsa prophecy and comment.

In my opinion, Sau Sakhi shows the views of Sikhs when Sikh Kingdom was in decline. The core of this book seems to show us the charhdi-kala of Sikhs even in those uncertain days. Unfornutely, the book was used by many for their poltical gains and it was modified many times to satify the needs of the writers.

Gurbani condemns any type of wordly rule. We can easily differentiate true history from the false one just by looking at gurbani.
"jinee sach pchhanya, sach raje seyi. eh bhoopte raje na akhiye, dooje bhaye dukh hoye" -ank 1088
"mailai brahmdaye kae ees" -ank 1158
"mithiya raj joban ar umre, meer malak ar khan" -ank 1215

It talks about only "abhinaasi raaj", i.e. the never ending rule on our Mann and therefore the Maya.

Also, taking an example from the more believable history of Guru Gobind Singh, he fought 14 battles and won 13 of them (one being undecided), and never did he try to rule on the land of Rajas who lost every time. He remained at his place only, spreading the message of Gurbani. He ruled only the hearts of the common people and still does so.

I have been to many historic gurdwaras and noticed how often the history of those places is twisted by the pujaries for various gains. For most of them (not all), its just good business. I have seen the links you have sent, they sure are funny but not true at all (I am sorry if somebody is hurt).

All regular people like me and you are affected by lust. Regarding your addiction to porn. The more you think about avoiding something the more you tend to be pulled towards it. You have to get yourself busy whenever you start thinking of porn just get away from the computer and if you have internet access on your phone get one without internet access, haha.

I am of the opinion our future as a religion will depend on what reforms to the "Rehat Nama"/ Sikh Code of conduct we are willing to accept.
This code was approved and accepted by a Sarbat Khalsa or special meeting of all Sikhs in around 1930. It is time we had another meeting, may be in 2030 to reconsider what is acceptable today and maybe a reform should be made every 100 years?

I know some will consider this suggestion almost like a revolution but an evolution takes place irrespective, accept it or not, it happens. Guru Gobind Singh Ji gave his Sikhs the power to govern themselves and may be that is why he accepted to be baptized by them?

The Illuminati is planning a WW3- a war is scheduled to break out that will be so awful that many many people will die etc. Events will take place so that afterwards, Satyug will come into being. Gurbani shows us that Kalyug is nearing it's end, and so Sikhs should start to become more Spiritually aware and Truth practicing and readying themselves for the events to take place.

They should teach their children also. Our Gurus taught us this.

People of all faiths and religions have been making these sorts of apocalyptic prophecies for millenia. And every single one of these predictions have been dispensed with on their heads. Gurbani does not conclusively show us that Kalyug is about to near its end. Gurbani exists as a supreme source of inspiration and comfort, it is not a pseudo-scientific manual which conjectures on how the world was created or when/how it shall end. Its only purpose is to help us liberate ourselves. Knowing the details of creation and destruction do nothing to advance us spiritually, this is why Gurbani doesn't deal with them.

I hope nobody intends to follow the advice given above and make their children fearful and fatalistic by brainwashing them with conspiracy theories and Illuminati senselessness.

Perhaps u may learn more about the Iluminati during your spiritual experiences. I have walked around London and have seen and felt some of what they have been/are capable of. But like I have said in my previous post to you, we are free to do what we want and believe what we want.

On reading Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Sri Dasam Granth Sahib Ji, we are meant to take the teachings as 100% True.

Both Granth speak of creation, and Dasam Granth sahib ji speaks of the events before and during the creation of Satyug. The Conditions of the world described in Dasam Granth Ji are synonymous to present conditions on earth so I would say that Satyug would be nearing. Regardless it is wise to always remain lrepared for battle both sliritually and physically as this is what our Gurus taught.

1984 was not too long ago and Sikhs have been known to have been targeted throughout the centuries including our Gurus as well as Jesus so one with wisdom would understand that Real truth practitioners should really be prepared.

Says who? You don't believe in metaphor?

Please provide excerpts from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji which corroborate what you are saying and I will be more inclined to believe you. What Gurbani there is dealing with creation is extremely general and doesn't go into the specifics as say the Bible does, precisely because the Guru Sahibaan realized these details were irrelevant.

Hi, the above link speaks of it but I would suggest for u to read the entire section about Kalki avtar: http://searchgurbani.com/dasam_granth/page/1135

My apologies I'm doing this from my phone so am nit pasting each line i think appropriate, but I actually think the entire section is great.

Gurbani does actually speak of how the world was created, of the Primal void etc

http://www.sikhiwiki.org/index.php/Guru ... e_Universe

Scroll down n read from the section 'How the World was created'.

Again from experience, i'll just share that I lived like a hermit for at least 2yrs, and it didnt really do me many favours, other than make me pretty awkward and fearful. I then found an amazing sangat and my bhagti hit the roof- and to this day, although I still come across many fools in this khel and still rise n fall, I learn so much each day that I never imagined I would and have learned that we should fear Nothing n Noone in this khel ever, because it's Just a Game. To detach from peoples crap while still living in the world is an amazing nasha- but we are all free to do as we choose. God Bless u
