how 2 cut ginger ....????its not being chopped using the broken scissor's blade????

You're on the right track. Yes, the broken scissor blade will work to chop the ginger. You have to chop it when you are at the stove making the recipe. To make a fire you need three things: fuel, kindling and matches.

The herbs you need are on the upper shelf next to the brass bowl.
