After anand traditions

Sat Sri Akaa

Im just wanting to understand traditions of a sikh wedding after the marriage

My particular question relates to below

On my wedding day I will be given a palla and I will be wearing a traditional sherwani with a shawl, after the ceremony wihich parties keep which accessories?

Do my parents as the groom keep the palla ? or do they keep an item of clothing such as the shawl? or is the shawl just a fashion accessory with no major significance ?

As the groom, may I keep all items of clothing to pass onto my future children?

AFAIK, Sikhi does not dictate these things but these traditions have evolved over time. Best to ask a local gurudwara on what is typically done.
