Re: Afterlife/Reincarnation

ssa Jsydney, Please read gurbani as this will help answer your questions and it will back up my answers. Subscribe to the daily hukumnama email is a good start. I would like to answer your questions below. 1. You are identifying yourself as separate from waheguru, this is duality (dubda) and is a fa...

Re: Coping with Depression

SSA, People with a blocked Solar Plexus Chakra suffer depression. I suggest she wears a chakra beads bracelet to balance her chakras. I know this sounds like it won't work. That's what I thought until I tried it, it made a big difference for such a little item. The chakras control the hormones in yo...

Re: Y The kirpa of sukhmani sahib not working for me

SSA,
Gurbani has one purpose and that is moksha - release from the cycle of birth and death.
This is what you should be aiming for.

However if you achieve this a by-product is the resolution of all your worldly affairs.

So aim for moksha and you will receive your hearts desires.

Re: Insights on family obligations for a non Sikh Hello ,

SSA, From your long story, it sounds like everything was fine until his sister & her husband came to America, and she has changed his mind to stop him marrying you. She probably has found someone from India for him from a rich family etc. This is how they think, money takes precedence over everythin...

Re: Can you meditate instead of sleep?

SSA,

Simran is like a speed boat engine. It takes effort to start it (pulling the string) but once it is going no effort is required.
Simran becomes automatic is your body.

Re: What does Naam/Amrit Ras feel like?

SSA, Today's hukumnama seem appropriate for this question: English Translation: Raag Soohee, Third Mehl, First House, Ashtapadees: One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru: Everything comes from the Naam, the Name of the Lord; without the True Guru, the Naam is not experienced. The W...
