Have solved the game 5 times and still not able to figure out what they were...

check for something near the base of the tree to unclog it...

did you accidentally pick it up and it is in your item bar? scroll it to be sure...give him some ordinary clay and see what happens...perhaps there is an order with the pot making I was not aware of...

you need 3 things fuel, kindling, and a spark...

Look for something near our resident mystic that has unusual eyes...and as for the pipe...perhaps something near the base of the tree in the village center can help)

Something sharp...a pair of scissors perhaps? ;)

I have been wondering the same thing as well. Just finished the game for the 5th time and have never been able to figure out what to do at the Ramalla

But it is still a nice thing to do... ; D

Perhaps some music will help them ; ) (That is if you know the right tune to play) ; D
