The link given by kamaljeetsingh is very nice advise to "sylvia". Forgetting somebody not coming foward, is possible by meditation to the god so that concentration of mind is moved away from one particular person.It is difficult but is only way out.

We as sikhs need to put a balancing line or do balancing acts between GHOONGHAT (Hindu veil ) complete Burka and completely open western world.

Acording to our guru sahib ji, we should not believe in any unscientific things. Our first guru Guru Nanak Dev Ji refused to pass gurgadi to his sons because they were believing in mantras and stuff like that. Veer agnostic G Pl put the word SIKH, RELIGION, AND DEATH in the seach engines of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Once you are able to find exact meaning of the above some of the things will be clear.
