A 15-year-old Sikh girl in Pakistan has emerged as the first girl from the Sikhy community to be among the toppers of the Class 10 examination.
The Sikh grammar school is the first of kind initiative in the Sikh community. The major objective of the institution is to set up a school having students from pre-school to year 12 with the education program based on the syllabuses, curriculum and assessment requirements of registered and accredited schools in NSW.
In grade 12, he earned 100 per cent in math, calculus, physics, biology and chemistry, and in 2009 received the Governor General’s Academic Medal for Excellence. Currently a second year business student at the University of British Columbia, he was offered full scholarship from the university.
