Langar Peru started with Baltej Kaur who started preparing sandwiches and hot chocolate for 30 homeless teenagers once a week. The program expanded to a local fruit market where they served lentils, rice, and vegetables. They started serving 300 people twice a month.

"The love that I can receive is more than the food I can give them"

Two years ago Langar Peru moved to a community with tremendous need. They came from the jungle in Peru, fleeing from narco-terrorism. They lived on a landfill and didn't have proper drinking water. They suffer from lots of illnesses due to their living conditions.

Langar Peru serves nutritious food, and beyond - then they bring hope. They bring a feeling of trusting in God, and growing in a vibration of love.
