I don't proclaim to be an expert of the Nirankari Faith. I did spend some time, though, with a family in Nirobi a few years ago, where they told me quite a bit about their faith. They believe that there is a living Guru, Sant Gurujit, whom they worship directly, as we do the Siri Guru Granth Sahib (which to them is just a holy book). They are very pure in their lifestyle, being vegetarians, not smoking, drinking or doing drugs. Their lifestyle is simple and not overly materialistic. They are very family orietated, and I found them to be very openhearted and loving. I enjoyed my stay with them immendsely. maybe someone else can share their knowledge and experience of the Nirankari Faith. GTKK
