Lady Lake, Florida: The UNITED SIKHS AID team has started relief operations in the Lady Lake area, in response to the deadly tornado of Feb 2nd , that ripped central Florida killing 20 people and damaging hundreds of houses. The tornado devastated a large area of around 20 square miles, blew trees, ripped houses roof and threw mobile houses off their foundations, leaving thousands without power.

The UNITED SIKHS AID relief team, after doing the initial survey, visited The Lady Lake Church of God on Hwy 441 that was turned into rubble by the tornado. Pastor Lary Lynn shared his emotions on the deadly impact of the tornado, “I got a call from a church member saying – ‘pray for us, everything has been destroyed’. I don’t know how it happened, but the 150 miles/hr wind just devastated the thirty-one year old church”. The Pastor welcomed and thanked UNITED SIKHS for the help. He added that it would take 1 ˝ yrs to rebuild the church.
