Sikh Dharma International Launches New Website.
News Source: http://
Espanola, NM, February 7, 2008 - Sikh Dharma International this week launched its first official website at www.sikhdharma.org
The website contains educational information for those interested in learning about the practice and lifestyle of Sikh Dharma. It also shares news and projects from Sikh Dharma International and its ministry.
The site is meant to be a source of inspiration for those who would like to become Sikhs, or who would like to deepen their existing relationship with the Sikh faith.
The website also includes on-line videos of talks about Sikh Dharma by the late Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji. In the late 1960’s, the Siri Singh Sahib left India and brought the teachings of the Sikh Masters to the West. Over time, his work became a global mission. His unique approach to sharing the teachings of Sikh Dharma struck a chord in many modern spiritual seekers. He left his body on October 6, 2004.
The new Sikh Dharma website is focused on helping to organize and share the teachings of the Sikh Masters with others. Future plans for the site include: adding more educational articles and videos, sharing information about service projects being created by the Sikh Dharma Ministry; and having the site available in multiple languages.
Sikh Dharma International has been a recognized non-profit 501c(3) religious organization in the United States for over 35 years. Through its efforts, Sikh Dharma was officially recognized as a religion in the United States in 1971. The headquarters for Sikh Dharma International are located in the Espanola Valley, New Mexico, USA.
