In her last TV appearance Sukhjit Kaur Khalsa wowed Australia with a spoken word performance on the show 'Australia's Got Talent'.
She brought judge Eddie Perfect to tears and prompted judge Kelly Osbourne to repost a tweet saying "@SukhjitKhalsa I bow down to you and your braveness".
Khalsa left the stage after hearing glowing approval from all the judges and was unanimously passed on to the semi-finals of the show. Her rousing performance made news all over the world.
Yesterday she gave her second performance on the show which was on the subject of female hair and beauty standards. Though she did make a stumbling pause towards the end of her act, she confidently finished with a powerful statement, "A lioness is a lioness, not a kitten. And my mane will remain my hair." The judges awarded her with a standing ovation.
