SRINAGAR, Kashmir (October 8, 2014)—The relief operation for the victims of floods in Jammu & Kashmir continues under the direction of Balbir Singh Bains and RP Singh, representative of Sikh Relief (SOPW) UK. Chairman of “Dharam Parchaar Wing” Satnam Singh Dabrikhana is also rendering his service in the relief operation.
Bottles of mineral water, clothes, medicines and foodstuffs are being provided to the flood affected people. Pregnant women that were lacking any assistance are being treated affectionately by the volunteers of the Sikh body. Volunteers are also providing their services in performing the last rituals of the dead bodies of the victims.
