Sep 22, 2014: LUCKNOW - The three-day congregation of All India annual meet of Sukhmani Saheb Sewa Society concluded here on Sunday. Held at a club in Aashiana the event saw the coming together of thousands of Sikhs who were present to seek the blessings of religious heads like Singh Saheb Gyani Man Singh.
Besides all gurudwaras, jathebandis and city-based Sikh communities, around 150 societies across the country participated in the annual fest.
KS Abbott, one of the organisers and member of Sukhmani Saheb Sewa Society, said "It was for the first time that Lucknow was chosen to host the event and that too at such a grand scale."
A team of physicians, gynecologists and pharmacists distributed free medicines to more than 1,000 people.
To bid farewell to the five religious heads of Golden Temple, a grand Nagar Kirtan was taken out from Gurudwara Aashiana till Gurudwara Mansarovar.
