January 13, 2016: Romanian photographer Mihaela Noroc’s visit to India for her Atlas of Beauty Project, was a life-changing experience, to say the least. She even got to capture the beautiful Bollywood actor Sonam Kapoor during her visit.
According to the Deccan Herald, the photographer’s two-month trip saw her visit Varanasi, Delhi, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Amritsar, Mumbai, Nashik and Goa and work alongside the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actor for the project.
“Sonam is an extraordinary person, a symbol of beauty and success and my wish was to let Indian women know that all of them are stars for me,” said Mihaela.

Although, the diva’s picture hasn’t been featured on the photoblog as yet, it surfaced on Indian news portal Rediff and Sonam was thrilled.
“I really want to let people in India know how special the women here are and that they deserve admiration, protection and respect, whether they are mothers, sisters or daughters. This photo series is a homage to all of them,” DH quoted the the photographer as having said.

| In the Sikh religion, Langar is the common canteen where food is served for free to all visitors. This is the Langar of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India that serves food to about 100.000 people, in a normal day. While tasting the delicious food, a few days ago, I met this beautiful Sikh piligrim. Today I just arrived in Mumbai, continuing my Indian journey. |

| She was walking on the streets of Kathmandu, Nepal together with her son. She didn’t speak English, but he did. “I want to photograph your mother.” I told him. “Why?” He asked me. “Because she is beautiful!” I replied. He proudly smiled and looked at his mother: “Yes, she is!” |

She plans on publishing the first edition of The Atlas of Beauty next year, which will chronicle her travels around the globe to capture beauty and diverse culture.
