Bhai Sahib Satpal Singh Khalsa, Chairman of Guru Ram Das Sikh Mission of America (USA) and Ambassador of Sikh Dharma visited Sachkhand Hazoor Sahib on Sunday, September 12 on the new air service started from Delhi to Nanded by Go Air. Bhai Sahib Ji along with his group accompanied Sardar Tarlochan Singh, MP and his family on this inaugural flight service to Nanded. Many other pilgrims, including S. Manjinder Singh Sirsa (Chairman, Law & General Purpose Committee-MCD-Delhi), his wife and son were also on this flight to Hazoor Sahib.

The direct air service to Nanded from Delhi is a result of concerted efforts of Dr. Parminder Singh Pasricha, Chairman of the Sachkhand Hazoor Sahib Board. With the new air service from Delhi and Mumbai to Hazoor Sahib, many local and foreign pilgrims can now visit Hazoor Sahib by air and also return the same day after paying obeisance at Sachkhand Hazoor Sahib. Under Dr. Pasricha's able guidance and leadership, all of the projects started during the 300 year celebration of Gur Ta Gaddi at Hazoor Sahib in 2008 have been completed. This includes all the residential complexes, Guru Granth Sahib Bhawan, the museum, Guru Ka Bagh and the laser show depicting the Sikh history.

The Chairman's team members, which include Sardar Jasbir Singh PS to Administrator and Sardar D.P.Singh (Supridentent), have worked tirelessly on the various projects at Sachkhand Hazoor Sahib. Sachkhand Hazoor Sahib is one of the five Takhats of the Sikh Religion and is an important Takhat as this is where the tenth master Guru Gobind Singh ordained the entire Sikh community in 1708 to respect the Guru Granth Sahib as the eternal living Guru and not to bow to any living person as Guru.

The one day visit of Bhai Sahib Satpal Singh to Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hazoor Sahib was co-ordinated by Sardar Jasbir Singh, Secretary to Administrator, Takhat Sachkhand Sri Hazoor Sahib. On arrival at the Siri Guru Gobind Singh Sahib airport at Nanded, Bhai Sahib Satpal Singh Khalsa and the entire group was received by Supridentent D.P. Singh and other staff members. There was a welcoming Band and many young Sikh students from the Vanjara Sikh School greeted the guests from Delhi.
