Comedian slams the America's Got Talent host on Instagram

Dane Jeffrey Cook is a stand-up comedian and actor in America. As a comedian, he uses observational, vulgar, and sometimes dark humor. There are six comedy albums he has released: Harmful If Swallowed; Retaliation; Vicious Circle; Rough Around the Edges: Live from Madison Square Garden; and Isolated Incident.

The controversial comments Dane Cook made regarding Nick Cannon's turban landed him in trouble.

As a television host, rapper, actor, and comedian, Nicholas Scott Cannon holds several titles. Cannon began his career on All That as a teenager. Afterward, he hosted The Nick Cannon Show, Wild 'n Out, America's Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, and The Masked Singer. As an actor, he has appeared in Drumline, Love Don't Cost a Thing, and Roll Bounce.

Cook went off on Cannon after Victoria's Secret Fashion Show by sharing a close-up of his outfit on Instagram.

'America's Got Talent’ host Nick Cannon has worn the headpiece for years.  According to him, his turban reflects his spirituality. Cook apparently went over the edge when he wore a pink turban during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

The image of Nick Cannon was shared by Dane Cook with the caption, "Last night Nick Cannon wore this shit". "He put this on his head and he looked in a mirror and he walked away from the mirror without saying to himself, 'Hey self maybe I shouldn't look like Zoltan and wear a [f--king] pink turban with one of the infinity stones from Avengers on it."

Dane Cook continued to elaborate the caption,  "He wore a matching tie and bottom lip lipstick too to match this horrific clothing mistake x10000...This pic makes me so frustrated that I want to delete it already and I think I will because this makes me want to quit Instagram. Don't get me wrong Nick is a good guy and he and I go way back but I'm gonna have to call Nick out here and say he Cannon't wear this [f--king] thing again."

Many commenters (over 500) stood up for Cannon and explained to Cook why the post was "ignorant" and "disrespectful," but Nick Cannon made sure to respond on his own.

On Instagram, Cannon posted a collage of himself wearing different turbans with the caption: "Yo @DaneCook call me so I can explain this Muthaf--kin King Business to you!! #MoorishMindset #SikhLife #ReconditioningOurCommunities."

Cannon was not constrained by Cook's comments, let alone his turban. Cannon opened up to People magazine about why he wears the headpiece, which represents more to him than just a fashion statement.  He said, "I want to represent my inner king, and to do it in a flyway." He further went on to say, "It's a great conversation piece but it also allows me to express that spiritual side…I have a good time with it, but it does mean a lot to me." Cannon explained his long interest in different religions and cultures and stated he wants to promote a more progressive, open-minded, and liberal mentality. “No matter what background you're from, no matter which religion or culture, if you could all just embrace it and just everybody love another," he said.

With his message and respect for the turban, Nick Cannon received a lot of love, respect, and admiration from the Sikh community. The turban for Sikhs has huge importance. It is a symbol of their faith. For the Sikhs, the turban represents their belief, spirituality, and sacrifices. Thus, any disrespect for the turban is hurled at their existence by the Sikhs.
