Bhai Gurbaksh Singh's Birthday Visit To Anandpur Sahib

12 December 2013, Gurdwara Amb Sahib, Mohali – On his 49th Birthday, Bhai Gurbaksh Singh has today visited Sri Anandpur Sahib amongst supportive Sikh leaders and Sangat.

Bhai Gurbaksh Singh is on a peaceful hunger strike to campaign for the release of Sikh prisoners who have served their legal sentences but still languishing in Indian jails. Bhai Sahib had the desire to visit Takht Sri Kesgarh Sahib in Anandpur as his health weakens, although he remains in high spirits.

Baba Ranjit Singh Khalsa Dhadrianwale, who has been supporting Bhai Gurbaksh Singh’s cause, reached Gurudwara Amb Sahib in the morning to give him best wishes and extend support for Bhai Sahib's Yatra to Anandpur Sahib. Baba Ranjit Singh Khalsa has also sent a number of Singhs from their Jatha with Bhai Gurbaksh Singh to Anandpur Sahib, whilst a large number have been staying at Gurdwara Amb Sahib for support and security. During an interview with UK’s Sangat Television, the Sikh preacher sent a strong message to the authorities and Sikh masses.

Amongst others, also present was Bhai Amrik Singh Ajnala, who is one of the key leaders in the forefront of this campaign initiated by Bhai Gurbaksh Singh.
