Satkirin Kaur Khalsa
For nearly four decades SatKirin Kaur Khalsa has devoted her life to expanding the consciousness of humanity through music and Naad Yoga, the yoga of sound. Using the Indian sacred musical format of Raga scales, SatKirin creates an effective means of healing the human body through the soul. Her live performances of kirtan, mantra workshops, and her 13 CDs will carry you into a deep experience of your own spirituality.
As part of her mission to disseminate peace and service through music, SatKirin is a representative to the United Nations Department of Public Information for the NGO of Healthy Happy Holy Organization (3HO Foundation). In addition, probably her most impressive contribution is raising two sons, with her beloved husband Siri Vishnu Singh. Gurumustuk Singh is the webmaster and founder of the famous Sikh-devoted website, Sikhnet.com, and father of two children aged 3 and 8. Dharam Singh attends college in Phoenix, Arizona.
SatKirin Kaur Khalsa shares her wisdom by allowing us to gain a clear experiential understanding of the power of the Naad, or universal sound current. Like a loving mother, she nurtures within us a deeper experience of ourselves through her gifts as a singer, musician, teacher, minister, and advocate. As she says, “Sharing the technology of this yogic way of life to uplift, enrich and bring harmony and peace to others is a gift that can only grow with sharing.”
