Bhai Sahib Bhai Vir Singh Ji's famous book, Pyare Jio, containing 84 letters written to people concerning the trials and tribulations of daily life. The letters teach how a Gursikh should lead his life and inspire the reader to strengthen his faith in Waheguru. Dr. Surjit Singh, Professor Emeritus of Philosophical Theology at San Francisco Theological Seminary, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at the age of 88.

Dr. Singh was a member of the SFTS faculty from 1951 through 1988. He was professor of Philosophical Theology.
