Dr Balwant Singh

Dr. Balwant Singh, son of Giani Bhagat Singh and Bibi Sant Kaur, was born in 1947 in Said Pur, District Kapurthala, Punjab, India.

He received his Medical Degree in 1970. After finishing his degree, Dr. Singh joined the Indian Army, Medical Corps, at the rank of a Captain.

He took an early retirement from the Army and started private practice in 1975 at Ludhiana, India. He has also headed the Public Welfare Society, Model House, Ludhiana for more than 30 years. He got baptized in 1978 along with his wife and only daughter from Panj Piaras at Sunet, Ludhiana, at the conclusion of religious conference.

Sarab Rog Ka Aukhad Nam Mission was started in Ludhiana from 1987 and since then he has served the mission. He has been holding at at least dozen or so healing camps per year all over the world. He has seen patients with incurable diseases get relief form the “super power” of Gurbani’s healing hymns.

He is the editor and publisher of 6 monthly Sarab Rog Ka Aukhad Nam magazine from 1998 released from Ludhiana.
