Bachan Kaur

Bachan Kaur (Madeleine) is a visual artist, sacred musician and Teacher of Kundalini Yoga and meditation.  As a child she could often be found drawing, singing orwhirling in the backyard.  It seems some things carry on throughout adulthood... 

 In her teens, Bachan put creativity in the background while she explored her love of the earth throughenvironmental awareness and organic agriculture.  However, her meditation practice eventually led her back to the path of the artist.  She changedher degree from Agricultural Sciences and completed instead with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from UBC.  She hasheld four painting exhibitions in British Columbia.  Her love of Mother Earth stillpervades her life as an artist in the production choices she makes. Her cds are printed on 100% recycled cardstock with no jewel cases(though she encourages downloads which create no waste) and is continually finding ways to reproduce art prints and cards on recylced paper. read more
