In order to encourage youth everywhere to get off their butts and take the time to create videos for the youth film festival, we award prizes to the participants in the different age divisions.
 

In addition to the great prizes which will be given for 1st 2nd and 3rd place in intermediate, junior divisions, and senior  (18-25 y/o, 11-17 y/o and 26+  respectively) we are awarding a special non-cash award for "Best Film in Genre" in each of three categories: DRAMA, COMEDY and DOCUMENTARY film.

Come to think of it, most film festivals charge YOU just to register and submit a film! We don’t do that.                   Come join us in the Jemez mountains of New Mexico for a 7 day camp in June 2011, or in Florida in December 2010. Video must meet certain quality standards determined by the SikhNet staff in order to qualify. In other words don’t rush and send us a quick video just to try and get the gift.
