Or, if you would like to have your own copy of the videos, we have compiled all of our favorite videos from previous years on DVD so you can buy the DVD(s) and watch them on your TV.  Proceeds from DVD sales go to SikhNet so we can continue to hold events like the Film Festival and the many other SikhNet initiatives.

The popular television show Masterchef has created quite a stir all around the world and even down here in Australia! So I thought to myself, I wonder if we can apply a cooking show to Sikhi. What are the ingredients that make us a Sikh. I’m sure that would give the judges a run for their rotis!

People say that the kitchen is the heart of the home, and Sikhism is the heart of a person. So does that mean Sikhi can be found in the kitchen? Well, let’s find out!
This film is dedicated to the hearts of the homes of the Sikhs of the world.

" Iz yu ignant bout Sikhi" is an attempt to spread Sikh awareness. Each Sikh has to educate 300 people for our world to know who we are. By educating others, we hope to create an environment that accepts our religion and culture. We went to many locations in the metro-Detroit area (our home town) to interview people at the Zoo, Taco Bell, Museums and many more. Along the way we came to learn a lot both about ourselves as well as have a few laughs. We hope you guys enjoy!

A ghost has been causing trouble in the city of London and the Ghostbusters are called in to teach him a lesson on sharing, a basic principle of the Sikh way of life.

Once in a galaxy not so far away. A young soldier of guru ji wandered the lands. As he travelled he longed for guru ji’s darshan. On this perilous journey he faced many foes who tried to corrupt him away from guru ji’s path. Finally he reached his destination…

A Sikh gets accosted by an angry man accusing him of being a terrorist. In his mind he goes through scenarios of different ways he could react to the person. The first is to get angry, the second is to try to not look like a Sikh and fit in. In the third scenario he becomes neutral and teaches the man about what it means to be a Sikh.

This short film is done in a comedic fashion, but it also has a moral: As Sikhs we must compassionately educate others about us to end discrimination instead of getting angry or dejected.

A Spoof on the popular television advertisement for the Mastercard (credit card). This video takes the aspects of being a Sikh and turns it into a funny and positive video promoting the Sikh Identity.
