A Sikh gets accosted by an angry man accusing him of being a terrorist. In his mind he goes through scenarios of different ways he could react to the person. The first is to get angry, the second is to try to not look like a Sikh and fit in. In the third scenario he becomes neutral and teaches the man about what it means to be a Sikh.

This short film is done in a comedic fashion, but it also has a moral: As Sikhs we must compassionately educate others about us to end discrimination instead of getting angry or dejected.

Sometimes children make us think about the everyday beliefs that we take for granted. And that’s exactly what a loving husband and father has to do when a series of innocent events lead him to think about his dedication to his faith. See what happens as these events unfold in the charming life of "Gurmukh Singh"

"Guru Nanak, please come back" features a young Sikh boy named Bikram who although a reluctant believer in god has to finally seek his refuge to deal with the frustrations pent up within him owing to the ever increasing human suffering and miseries all around him.

A revelation dawns upon him that the age old teachings of Guru Nanak which withstood the test of time are still relevant and perhaps the only solution to all the problems in the world today.

This is a music video for a song titled "Just 2 Live Another Day", which is about Sikhism and our need to remember those who gave their lives so that we could live and worship peacefully. 

Short video asking Sikh men and women, boys and girls and finding out their own reasons for wearing a turban.

Every year for the last 18 years some Sikhs have gotten together to organise a 140 mile cycle ride for a children’s charity. This year is the 18th year. This documentary celebrates people of Sikh and other demominations coming together to give selflessly – a true Sikh ethic. The film suggests that it is people who can make a difference!

This video is dedicated to BHAGAT PURAN SINGH JI, a noble Sikh with a noble Vision and Mission – to help who are helpless or mentally and physically disabled. He give his life in this seva without any racism or distinction of caste, as a true Sikh of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He is also also very keen to protect the enviroment from polloution and he wrote thousands of articles on enviromental protection and its effects in order to create awareness among all peoples.

Like me, lot of other people were inspired and always got inspiration from his NISKAM SEVA.

This documentary is still a work in progress about human rights defender Jaswant Singh Khalra. Upon completion of this documentary, there has been some progress in the murder trial case of Jaswant Singh Khalra. Six low-level officials were convicted for the abduction and murder of Jaswant Singh Khalra. However, the primary architect of this crime, former Director General of Police KPS Gill, has not been held accountable. Despite Special Police Officer Kuldip Singh’s testimony, who witnessed KPS Gill interrogate Jaswant Singh Khalra in illegal detention, the Central Bureau of Investigation refused to investigate or prosecute KPS Gill for his role in Jaswant Singh Khalra’s abduction, torture and murder.

I have been thinking about making a short documentary for the last two years but never had the knowledge or the material in my hands. Last year during the end of the Sikhnet film festival, I made a small tribute to the Sikh Heroes and submitted it but it was too late. The deadline had already passed and the winners were already announced. This year I decided to work hard beforehand so I wouldn’t be late for the deadline.

This video is dedicated to the Khalistani movement in the Punjab region, but the most important reason it is made is for Sikhi to flourish. Just like people have different ideas to spread the words of the Gurus – my idea was unique from everyone elses, I used the times of the struggle in the 60′s,70′s,80′s,90′s, and the 2000′s. The main aspect of the video is representing the values upheld by the Sikh Gurus such as Guru Arjun Dev Jee or Guru Gobind Singh Jee and any other great Sikhs who fought for freedom, stood up for the right path and always were on the side of the TRUTH.

This video is about a person (the drop) who lives a normal life without knowing the reason for his existence. He wanders lost in Maya and then finds the the true meaning of life and how to get out of cycle of life and death, through the path of Sikhi. This video tells us how one can meet the true Guru (Ocean).

"Main Kaun Haan?" is calling all the misguided Sikh youth of today to realize their true identity – Khalsa!

This video revolves around an imprudent Sikh youth who takes present day film heroes has his idols. But by Guru’s grace he goes through an incident which transforms him to the core and he realizes that his real heroes are all the Sikh Gurus and Martyrs who sacrificed everything for the supreme sake of humanity and faith.

This video highlights a brief clip from the young martyr Hakikat Singh’s life. He is one who preferred to dierather than to tell a lie, and so he gave his life for his faith, and to stop the oppression and killings of innocent Sikhs.

This incident took place during the Mogul rule in Baba Banda Singh Bahadur’s time period. The cast consists of young children from the ages of three to fourteen.

This video is dedicated to all Sikh Martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the Chardi Kala of Khalsa Panth. 

The movie "Bhule Marg Jine Bataya" depicts how the Sikh community is being led astray by some self-proclaimed ‘babas’ for their own vested interests, thus inflicting intense damage to tenets of Sikhism as defined by our revered Gurus. Our Gurus have inscribed their Bani in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and emphasized Naam Simran. It is stated to be THE ONLY WAY to reach the Almighty.

The film tries to give a message to the derailed Sikh community, so that they may return to the path shown by our Gurus.

This video is our small effort to show right path to those Sikhs who are mislead by cheat and fraudulent saints and considered them as the true one.

One Light celebrates the oneness of all people in the footsteps of Guru Nanak who traveled thousands of miles and reached millions of people in the conflicted world to impart the message of One God, One humanity.

In this film a 13 year old from suburban Atlanta takes on a project to educate his neighbors about himself as a Sikh and to learn about them as well. The mission is to connect with them – drawing on similarities, and inspiring everyone to take a baby step in the direction of making this world a friendlier place by education, connection and inspiration.

A short illustration of the events that occured around the historic period of 1984. It depicts the ‘defenders of the faith’ and the fundamental justice that Sikhs rightly deserve. It is predominantly based around the urgency of freedom and is presented in the form of a music video supported by a highly charged track.

A mini-documentary produced for my Penn State University Sociology of Gender class. It showcases women and gender equality in Sikhism. (Fall 2004)
