Who should attend? Anyone interested in learning more about what role Sikh art plays in historical and cultural context. The session will explore pieces of Sikh art done in the Pahari, Mughal and contemporary styles. The session does not require any prior knowledge of art. Why should I attend? The opportunity to focus and enhance understanding of Sikh Art and its unique place in today’s culture. Take part in the interactive session and get answers to your unsolved questions. Who is the Presenter? Inni Kaur is an active member of Sikh community affairs. She was involved in coordinating the first exhibition of early Sikh art at the Rubin Museum of Art in New York. Titled “I See No Stranger: Early Sikh Art and Devotion,” which highlighted the core Sikh belief in the oneness of God & respect for all religious traditions.
