Prof Kartar Singh Ji, Director Gurmat Sangeet Academy run by SGPC, got President's Award from Her Excellency Smt Pratibha Devisingh Patil, honourable President of India. Prof Kartar Singh got this award for his contribution to traditional form of Gurmat Sangeet. Prof Kartar Singh has also written 4 books on Gurmat Sangeet. A very much congratulations to all the Sikhs
