Prof Kartar Singh Ji  81, Director Gurmat Sangeet Academy got honour and award from the president of India for his contribution to the traditional form of Gurmat Sangeet i.e. with tanti saaz in raags. Prof Kartar Singh has the oppurtunity to revive the classical form of Gurmat Sangeet.He has also written four books on Gurmat Sangeet.
