There will be Gurbani kirtan by Prabhu Nam Kaur Ji from 11:30 am to 1:00pm on Sunday July 26th, 2009 at Sikh Gurdwara, 3645 Melcon Ln Santa Rosa,California 95407 USA.Everyone is welcome. Prabhu Nam Kaur has been teaching yoga for 30 years. She is able to listen with deep compassion and has a profound mastery of the sound current. She is able to evoke a deeply sacred space with her devotional music. She has been studying the Gurmukhi language for more than 30 years and takes great joy in her ongoing studies of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib ji. She is one of the leading Regis (musicians) in the Sikh community of the West and is a well-known teacher of the Gurmukhi language and its musical form, Gurbani. One of her most precious students is her daughter, Snatam Kaur
