Guruu Pyaare'o, With the Grace of Waheguru an Amrit sanchaar has been organised by Akhand Keertani Jatha UK in celebration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji's 300 years gurgaddi diwas. It will be held on Saturday 25th October 2008, 9PM: Guru Nanak Gurdwara Smethwick, 128-130 High Street, Smethwick, West Midlands, B66 3AP. Anyone wanting to be blessed with Amrit should be at 7.30pm at Gurdwara Sahib and advised to listen to Keertan or Paatth before the Amrit Sanchaar begins. The Amrit Sanchaar will probably start at 9pm. Can all Ablakhiyees (individuals) ensure they do full kesi ishnaan (wash their their), wear all 5 kakkaars, and must be focused in your mind to dedicate your mind, body and soul to your Guru. If you do not have suitable kakkaars, then they will be provided. Please ensure suitable dress, i.e. keski (turban) for both male and female also chola or kurta pyjama for males, and salwar kameez for bibian.
