Gurdwaras in Haripur Hazara, Pakistan

Postby topateksingh » Sat Dec 15, 2018 12:14 am

Dear Sangat,

I enjoy visiting this site and learning about Sikh Religion as well as Haripur Hazara, my home town.
In one of the site (ApnaOrg by Dr. Bhai Harbans Lal) Some where it has been mentioned that Haripur City used to have four Gurdwaras before partition, but their precise location has not been mentioned.

Will it be possible to for someone give their exact location like, Mohallas where they were located?
It has also been mentioned that there was a Sikh Gurdwara exclusively dedicated to women or females? What a great achievement at that time!..

What was the arrangement for Girls education? Was there any school like Khalsa High School Haripur? Was there any "jandar" water wheel in Haripur city at that time?

Thank You.
