Program Coordinator Need for Nonprofit

The Sikh Alliance is a newly formed not for profit CaliforniaThe Alliance currently is composed of two sections: 1) a legal section committed to public interest litigation, and 2) a public services section that is currently focused on providing such services in Punjab. The Alliance is seeking to hire a fulltime Program Coordinator to develop and manage its infrastructure to insure the success of both these sections, and assuming responsibility for the Alliance’s social media. The Program Coordinator would be expected to lead the development and implementation of office systems, provide updates to the Alliance’s Board and Trustees of its projects, and manage and spearhead its publicity. The successful candidate for Program Coordinator position will have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, possess strong public speaking and writing skills, have office experience, and be comfortable traveling. The ability to speak Punjabi is required and proficiency reading and writing is a plus. Starting salary for the position is $40,000/year plus health benefits.
