Staff Attorney Needed for Nonproft

The Sikh Alliance is a newly formed not for profit California corporation in the process of pursuing 501(c)(3) under the Internal Revenue Code. The Alliance currently is composed of two sections: 1) a legal section committed to public interest litigation, and 2) a public services section that is currently focused on providing such services in Punjab. The Alliance is seeking to hire a fulltime staff attorney. The Alliance staff attorney will be expected to immediately engage in federal court litigation, and be comfortable with carrying both a substantial caseload as well as engaging in advocacy centered activities. The starting salary for the staff attorney position is $50,000/year, plus health benefits. To apply for the staff attorney position, please submit your resume with a cover letter.
