Members from the University of Illinois Sikh Student Association will talk about their annual Langar on campus, a religious tradition that provides a community meal to anyone who would want it. Over the past four years, the Sikh Student Association has hosted a campus Langar, feeding over 1500 individuals with food cooked by members and their families. Since that time, this community Langar has been duplicated in Washington, DC and other areas. Come learn about the tradition of Langar and the ways that Langar promotes interfaith and interracial community.
