I have the audio of this coversation between sant ji and suleman. Its pretty clear that voice of the ghost (suleman) in the conversation cannot be of a kid and he does speak in a middle east language. Suleman described in length how the ghosts live.

Suleman said that he was born 1000 years ago and he has seen Guru Nanak and Gautam Buddha. As per history Guatam Buddha was born more than 2000 years ago. Therefore its impossible for suleman to see Gautam Buddha.

Its just this one thing which sow the doubts in y mind regarding the authenticity of this story of possession. Otherwsie it sounds all genuine.

Sat Shri Akaal Everyone,

And thank you all for your contributions to the topic.

As far your doubts Manmukh Veer Ji, we can't even trust a human beings words, but look what evil force you want to place you trust in? :) Off course we can't trust just a jinn's word.

I have watched English movies: Exorcist, then its series (3 or 5). These are Christianity based, although I would think the end result shown should be offensive to any God loving person as even one priest was shown to be taken by the satan, while we believe God is the most powerful.

These people believe that there is a evil force that simply pretends to be this or that to fool us, it will not reveal its real identity. Sometimes, it pretends to talk in different languages when it is really messing up the simple language like say all words backwords. Basically they want to demean, fool us as we may be more close to God than them. By demeaning our bodies, our intellect they want to demean God. However, sometimes they do speak different languages too.

This is Christianity's view point which believes that Satan is fighting with God. Sikhism thinks God is the ultimate authority, no one could afford to fight with Him. Even they are fearful of God.

Now coming back to our case, the outstanding questions I would like to know are:

1. Did the jinn through the boy requested to be taken to Sant Ji, or when the boy started misbehaving, the parents took the boy to Sant Ji? There after the jinn comes up with his interesting story to be spared by Sant Ji. This is very crucial piece of information, who was behind bringing the boy to Sant Ji.

2. If the language is middle east, how can we understand it? Is someone translating things?

3. Did Sant Ji say anything about his words, or stories? Most likely he would not have, he would have shown kindness to even the jinn, and rightfully so. Sarbat da bhalla. Sant Ji simply wanted the jinn to not trouble the humans, he would not have liked to put him down in any way.

Finally, when are we going to hear this cassettee? :)

There is a website on Sant Ji on the internet, why would they not collect such valuable information and post it on his website to show how much capacity he had. This is very very incredible capacity, beyond our imagination that the jinn will be speaking to Sant Ji in a requesting polite manner. Can we begin to imagine how spiritually high up Sant Ji must been? We just want to make everyone just normal and sensible that is within our reach only, and bring them down with us, anything that does not make sense to us, it must be just made up, while only God knows how much power they really had.

Thank you,

Regards,

Rani

VahiguroojikakhalsaVahiguroojikifateh,

I was the one who uploaded suleman audio tape on the internet initially couple of years ago so that people can value this human life and get inspired by his suffering in the prait jaun and his dedication to transcendent from this prait jaun to human being so that he can be liberated. I know people will find this tape good to be true but i can personally vouch this is a real tape, my relatives were there at that moment when this conversation was recorded. There are apparently more than one recording. His conversation were recorded on many different occasions, all the recording are available in hapur branch of rara sahib.

Here is an direct link where one can download the suleman audio tape:

right click and save target as:

http://www.gurmatveechar.org/audio/kath ... Udhaar.mp3

Here are few testimonals and details about this tape.

In 1962, this suleman from iran came in some kid in india. He was
buried ages ago in india before guroo's time. Kid was playin around
and happen to piss on his "grave". Soul didnt get mukhti and so evil
soul went inside that little boy. One day, baba ishar singh ji
maharaj was doing his divan and boy came and start beggin for help
(in that phase evil soul was in absence) .. sant ji told him to come
back later. Next morning, he came again and then baba ishar singh ji
talk to the evil soul. This whole conversation was recorded in the
tape between muslim ghost and sikh sangat. He talks about life after
death.

Baba ishar singh ji maharaj rara sahib wale freed his soul from evil jaun (not
mukkhti) after asking couple's who werent havin kids. so baba ji
asked the couple if they can have the soul since they werent havin
kids. so they
replied "satbachan" .. this is how that soul got freed and transmit
into the new born fetus. Baba ji said now this is the best i can do
for you. You can be mukht from this birth and dead cycles by urself.
I have given you again the human life (munukhi jevan) by freein from
you praiet jaun(evil spirit life cycle).

This tape itself changed thousands of lives and brought people close
and closer to gurbani..

The tape is in urdu. It may sound too good to be true. But there were
my relatives who were there that time along with sangat in
hundred's...while someone had that tape recorder that day and
recorded the convo..

Also, attempt is not make you beleive in this tape (If its true or
not) attempt is put something infront of the sangat where their
state of life/mind can be changed.

Read in the book "pret kiton devte" by the Hapur Mahapursh - they were there when suleman first came.

Suleman was a pir and saw his daughter and a sadhu together romantically while he was in samaadhi and got angry and went looking for the sadhu to kill him. He couldnt find the sadhu and when he got home he burnt his daughter and a short while later his wife died of grief.

then he started doing bad things for money as he had ridhia sidhia.

after he died he was taken by jamdoot to dharamrai - took one year, beating him all the way. He describes what dharamrai looks like - 'beard white like the sun, skin red like molten copper'. Dharamraja tells him he has to go to kunbi narak until he learns his lesson, and then has to be a pret for a thousand years.

Suleman asks how he will get mukti - Dharamrai says that God will come to earth in the form of 10 Gurus, after some time when Sulemans sentence is finished there will Guru Nanak Dev ji's sant in Rara Sahib who will give him mukti.

Then he asks Dharamrai where the sadhu who slept with his daughter is as he wants revenge. Dharamrai says that he will be a boy called manmohan singh and you will recognise him when you see him. You can beat him, but you cant kill him, he will lead you to Sant Isher Singh.

Suleman says he met Guru Nanak Dev Ji in mecca medina, where he was told he had to do what Dharamraja told him. He also says that he met Guru Gobind Singh Ji but not in detail - he was questioned by someone and suleman answered "I have already told you I met him."

Suleman says that people used to to pooja at his grave (muslims), and one day a boy urinated on the grave, suleman looked at him and recognised the sadhu he has been wiating for. He started attacking him, until he remembered Dharamrajas word, and let him go, when the boy became uncoinscious. The villagers quickly came and got him, doctors found nothing wrong - didnt know what had happened.

At first he cam to Hapur in someone elses body and then started speakin in manmohan singh, who was in Maharaji's sangat.

Maharaji found someone to have suleman as a baby that both suleman and the family agreed to and suleman went. First he refused to go to someones house coz they were rich, then when he agreed to this family he said that he would go but wouldnt sell newsparers ( that was his father to be's work)

A few weeks later Suleman turned up at Rara Sahib again, Maharaji asked him why he broke his word, Suleman said he didnt break it - it takes six months for the human to form and then he will go back because the pain was too much in the womb - written in Anand Sahib paat as well (mata ke udar meh pratipal kare).

Maharaji said ok, Suleman took Manmohans singhs body again and started living in rara sahib sangat as sevadar.

This is when one of those recordings was made that is on the net. This was made by balwant singh, and the transcript is also in the book.

This conversation you've heard on the recording. He seems a nice enough guy

7 months later Suleman was still there, Maharaji called him and again asked why he broke his word, Suleman said he was sorry, but wanted see Maharajis birthday before he went. Maharaji said no - the baby was ready.

Suleman replied that Mahraji could do anything, and that he could the delay the birth, Maharaji agreed.

11 months after his mother got pregnant, Suleman was born, after Maharaji refused another extension - saying it would to painful for the mother to wait any longer. He left his nishan on manmohan singh - his tongue was all spotty.

For 4 years after he was born Suleman could remember all that had happened to him - he also described what kunbi narak was like and what people had to do - some people were being burnt again and again - didnt really understand that bit coz his urdu is strange.

Theres a couple other stories about prets and how they got mukti through saptah paat, and extracts from Gurbani about pret/bhoot etc.

He described how prets possess people - 'like how tissue sticks to sweat on a body, the pret envelopes the human'. Prets are attracted to the smell given off by people who eat meat, eggs and drink alcohol, because their food is blood and meat - which they eat through animals.

Hello everybody,

First, I'd like to apologise in advance to anybody who might be offended by what I have to say.
The events surrounding the Suleman story took place almost forty years ago and I will try to recall them as best as I can.

I was born in Wolverhampton, West Mids. at a maternity home on the Tettenhall Road in 1965.
The maternity home closed down before the 70's but the building still stands (74? 76? Tettenhall Road nr. The Beeches).
Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji (Rara Sahib) stayed at a house just off the Tettenhall Road called Crowther Road.
The name of the householder where Baba Ji stayed was the late Sadagher Singh.
It was at this location that Baba Isher Singh "left their chola" (Lit. left their vestments).
Sant Baba Isher singh held diwaans at Nanaksar Thath Isher Darbar, (a former Boy's club) on Mander Street, off Penn Road (A449). Diwaans were also held in London.
As a young boy of 8 or 9 in 1974 / 1975, my parents took me to these diwaans and I can clearly remember it was the first time I'd seen kirtan being performed with Chimte being raised above the head. Anybody who witnessed that kirtan in those days will testify that it was very gripping.
Sadly on the 26th August 1975, Baba Ji left their Chola and their "person" was taken to the Co-Op funeral home near the Ring Road in Wolverhampton where my parents took me to view Baba Ji "resting".
I remember these events because my father passed away from a heart attack the following year in 1976 when I was 11 years old.
After Baba Ji's "departing", the following year (1976) and for a few years afterwards, the Jatha from Rara Sahib returned to do Diwaans at the Nanaksar Thath in late August. An Akhand Path ceremony was also held at Sadagher Singh's house on Crowther Road.
I think that even to this day, Sangees (Lit. followers) of Baba Isher Singh Rara Sahib Wale travel from London for the "Barshi" on August 26th.

If you go to Sadagher Singh's house on Crowther Road today, you will see many personal items that belonged to Baba Isher Singh Ji. They include several pairs of moje (slippers), other personal effects and many photographs.
When Baba Ji "left their Chola", local sangees in Wolverhampton flocked to Sadagher Singh's house. As per an old custom, some of Baba Isher Singh's belongings were given away. My father was given a pair of Moje, a parna and a small under-turban. I think one of the latter of the two was put in my father's casket at his funeral. The moje were kept by my mother until her passing from Leukemia and are now in the possession of my eldest sister.

My father had relatives in London who were Sangees of Baba Isher Singh Ji and he visited them often.
It was on one of these occasions that he returned with a cassette (TDK type C-60 or 90?) tape with the title "Suleman" and a number, e.g. 9

Several years later, as I was going through my family's kirtan casette collection, I came across this cassette tape.
The recording was audible but 'rough'. An old man rambles on in a kind of Urdu which my mother could not comprehend.
I asked my mother about the tape and it was then that I first heard the story of Suleman the "spirit".
She described how the boy had urinated on a (unmarked?) grave and it was how the spirit had entered him.
She described how the spirit would "speak" through the boy not just for a short time but for lengthy periods of time; the voice of an old man coming out of a boy.
People even asked Suleman questions about events that had taken place while he was alive (a long time ago) and he would reply. She said the tape was part of a series of recordings that people had made.
As a young boy, this was pretty "hairy" stuff to me but she didn't seem disturbed in any way. She said that "possessions" were commonplace in rural Punjab and that it was commonplace to "beat" the possessed person until the spirit left him / her.
She said that the main 'thrust' of the Suleman story is that people had pleaded with Suleman to leave the boy he was "inhabiting" but he refused to do so.
He said that he was waiting for a Sant called Isher Singh to come and "release" him.
I think that when Suleman first spoke from inside the boy, nobody knew of Sant Baba Isher Singh Ji.
In Wolverhampton, An elderly widow from Pakistan lived next door to us and one day while she was visiting, I played the tape to her. She could understand some, but not not all of it even though she could speak Urdu.
However, Suleman repeated over and over again talk of "suffering" and "punishment". He describes the pain of his punishment repetitiously and his 'rambling' is broken by occasional praise of the prophet Mohammed. This praise was something that my neighbour was clearly able to understood.

I think that the main message of the Suleman story is that it presented clear evidence of a spirit 'entity' to people who would otherwise disbelieve in reincarnation.
Suleman was a tortured soul who wanted liberation and he received it in the second half of the 20th century.
The story is over and the boy who he possessed lives a normal life.

We should not dwell too much on the existence of 'ghosts' or other spirits because (as my mother always told me) they cannot come near a Gursikh. "Where there is light, there cannot be darkness".

To those in the forum who are interested in the story should visit the late Sadagher Singh's house on Crowther Road around August 26th when a handful of sangees will congregate. Ask around and I'm sure somebody will have one or more copies of the tape(s).

I think many people on this forum were born in the 1970's or 80's and so these events must seem far-fetched. To those people, I apologise most sincerely.
The events that I have described above, happened more than 30 years ago and it cannot be easy to corroborate them.

The most important thing in this life it to make it your ambition to try and read the whole of the Guru Granth Sahib from beginning to end.
It means covering the 1430 angs (pages).
There will be whole sections that you pass through where you do not find Bani that you have heard in Shabad Kirtan or in Hukamnamas.
Do not give up and continue; soon you will meet a section that you recognise.
If you can get Santhia (help from a Gyani) to expound the bani then that is the best way to learn correct pronunciation.
The best way is to use the Guru Granth Sahib in Senchia (two volumes).
The Senchia were very suitable for scholars of Gurbani.
However, (according to my mother), the Senchia should not be stacked one on top of each other but must be kept side by side - a kind of respect.

I wish everybody the most heartfelt success in reading the Guru Granth Sahib.

My apologies again for any words that may be of harm to any section of the forum.

Re: Ghosts or no ghosts?

Postby Manmukh » Sat Sep 06, 2008 6:32 am

Rani ji,

SSA

"1. Did the jinn through the boy requested to be taken to Sant Ji, or when the boy started misbehaving, the parents took the boy to Sant Ji? There after the jinn comes up with his interesting story to be spared by Sant Ji. This is very crucial piece of information, who was behind bringing the boy to Sant Ji."

As per suleman's words he got into the bOy purposely to get to Sant ji. He said he had something to settle down with the boy from their previous birth. The boy's family took him to sant after suleman asked them to do so. Suleman said that dharamraj himself told him, before putting him into prett jooni for 1000 years, that a guru nanak follower would free him from prett joonie. Dharamraj did mentioned santji's name as well.

2. If the language is middle east, how can we understand it? Is someone translating things?

Well, Its more like urdu (which is similar to punjabi) with occasional stuff in a middleeast langauge (probably arabic) which he himself translated into our language.

3. Did Sant Ji say anything about his words, or stories? Most likely he would not have, he would have shown kindness to even the jinn, and rightfully so. Sarbat da bhalla. Sant Ji simply wanted the jinn to not trouble the humans, he would not have liked to put him down in any way.

Santji was not invloved at all in the whole conversation. Suleman said that it was all pre-written. He said santji would make him born into a skh family and his name would be Gurdit Sngh.

Finally, when are we going to hear this cassettee? :)

Please try the link in my another post. Let me know if you couldn't find anything over there. I will try again to upload this audio to net.
