hi ,im a student .i was doing some assgment about sikh marital .can i get information about taboo of premarital Sikhs..Means, things that brides can't be do before they get married .i hope i get some information ,thanks ...

Sikhs are encouraged to view people equally. Gender discrimination should be kept to a minimum. This is a challenge in patriarchal societies, as is evident by your question (asking about the premarital obligations of females but not males) and also in the Sikh Code of Conduct which specifies that Sikh women should marry Sikh men (but presumably a Sikh man can marry whomever he likes).

An organized religion with set of man-made rules and practices is itself a taboo.
