School Problem

I have recently got a turban (patka) i am 14 by the way and i went into school and well everyone noticed and around the end of the day when i was heading into 9th period my name got called down to the office and when i went in there and the principal said that i couldn't wear my turban and i said i wear it because of my religion he said that its in the no head wear policy and i left. I told my mom when i went home and she came into the office tomorrow about the issue and talked to the principal about it and he said that if we let just him wear it everyone else is going to wear it but he said that he would talk to the superintendent of the school about it and he also gave the number to my mom. My mom called the superintendent and she couldn't reach him but she said she would try later. So can anyone please help me to what i should do everyone says i look good in the turban so can anyone help me to what i should do next? Thank You

You did not mention which country or State you are in. The laws are different in different countries and your next course of action will depend upon where you live. In the US, you should be able to challenge the Principal and even School board if they have such policy. I think same can be said about Canada and UK. But we all know about French and their draconian laws!

Punjabi G is right.... I do know something of the situation in the Netherlands (Holland) and the Flemish part of Belgium and they too are both different from each other and from the situation in for instance UK.

It is bad! how can they do that ! which country is that? they are in a lot of trouble if you are a Canadian. If you are in Canada, PM me and we can solve this problem together
