Reciting Bani

Why recite bani instead of simply the name of God? How does placing thoughts on God redeem us? God is selfless but why does God require us to constantly recite One’s name?

2. Placing thoughts on God helps us realize our Soul.
3. God doesn't require us to recite his name, our Soul requires it, so it can realize God.
