you did not eat intentionally. firstly halaal by muslims and sikhs means eat what you earn. so it is the process which differs. it is not going to send u to hell. feel easy and enjoy the life

waheguru ji ka khalsa waheguru ji ki fateh
Don't worry. You will not go to hell because you are aware halal is wrong. Cruelty of animal is wrong.
Merging with one God is heaven and away from one God in hell. Which we can see in this life and will continue in further journey.
Guru's teachings help us to rid off from ego and follow God's will. Just follow guru's teaching for happiness, health and prosperity.
Thanks!

If you are not Pahuldhari (Amritdhari), you can just do path and clear your soul's burden. However, if you are initiated, you will have to present yourself to 5 Pyaras (Beloved Ones) and they will sort things out for you on what you need to do.

What you eat does not do as much harm as what comes our of the heart.
This is sort of in the Bible.
It means that you have not done as much wrong as you think you have done. Obviously it does not mean that we can eat whatever we want.
It however means that people who slander others, talk bad about others, do not wish others good from their hearts commit a much grave sin. What you eat does not affect you as much.
Having a sip of Amrit from the Guradwara will help restore your conscience back.

Your body is a temple for within it resides the soul, the soul that will eventually merge with the Almighty.
Think of the Gurdwara, that is the temple and within is resides the most purest of pure souls, Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
So do we not take care of the Gurdwara? Do we not meticulously clean it and keep it free of clutter and filth?
Sewathars clean the gurdwara thoroughly why? Because within resides Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
In the same way our body is a temple and within resides the soul. We jap naam and do simran to cleanse the soul so that it moves towards Akaal Purkh. In the same way we need to keep the body clean also. The polluting nature of meat, halal or non-halal , cannot be ignored. Try doing simran after you have gorged on steak and chips , it cannot be done, it just cannot be done, try it (on second thoughts don’t :-) )
At the end of the day it is your choice, we are all on a path, some have progressed more than others, just look within yourself and keep to your personal path towards Guru. Always keep Guru Ji in mind in all that you do, He is your guiding light, never waiver from Him and He will shower you with blessings that you will not believe.
If you are amritdhari, then you shouldn’t be eating meat anyway ! you will have to present yourself to the Panj.
