I think you answer the question yourself. If you can do this then you can overcome other problems. Social problems are nobody elses but your own. It's hard, and you're young but find that strength to do what you have to do! I wish you all the best.

I think they will come round. These are difficult situations because of traditions and the world not evolving at the same rate everywhere and with everyone. You should focus on the job that you want to do because in the end it is YOU that has to do it for 40/50 hours per week.
